The replays show there was no contact, which means Murray ought to really have stayed on his feet.

Now Cameron Carter-Vickers blocks Simon Murray's goal-bound shot, though Joe Hart might have been saving it anyway.

Another Yan Dhanda corner is cleared at the near post. Celtic have no control of this game at the moment.

There's a shout for handball, but the replays show it's come off the left-back's ribs.

County now have a corner at the other end, but Yan Dhanda can't beat the first man.

A graphic flashes up on the TV showing Ross County have had five touches in the Celtic box, while the champions have had none in the County area.

Eight minutes gone, you would not have expected that.

Celtic get a free kick out on the right but it doesn't come to anything. Ross County speed down the other end but Simon Murray fouls Anthony Ralston in the Celtic box.

James Forrest has done his ceremonial duty unfurling the title flag and the business starts once more. The Ange Postecoglou era is well and truly over and the noise around Celtic Park has ramped up again in anticipation.

Brendan Rodgers certainly divided opinion on his return given the reaction to the manner of his departure but there's been no evidence of hostility here.

Their focus is another title. Ross County will hope they put an immediate spanner in their hopes. It's looks a tough task.

Very, very good start for County.

They've been able to get into the final third on a few occasions already. They're going to ask questions of Celtic.

That could have been the opener.

Yan Dhanda gets down the left, moves it into the box and Victor Loturi squares it for Simon Murray, who prods wide from a few yards out under pressure.

Celtic defend the corner but Ross County get the ball back eventually and have been able to stick the ball in the box.

The quality hasn't been good enough, but a good start from the visitors!
