It's been a solid performance from Albion.

They've dealt with Leeds very, very well and going forward, they attacked with some pace and got a few dangerous balls across the six yard box.

Obviously they need to keep going and find that goal but the manager will be well pleased.

To be totally honest with you, as I always am, it's been a half of few chances.

The home side came closest to breaking the deadlock when Jamie Shackleton's deflected effort struck the post and Alex Palmer made a sharp save from a Dan James shot that also took a nick off a Baggies defender.

As soon as they lose the ball, West Brom are into a very tight defensive shape.

Five at the back, plenty of bodies behind the ball and saying 'Ok, come on, break us down'.

A lot of teams are going to come to Elland Road this season and play like this.

The away side win a corner after another bright foray forward from Darnell Furlong.

The home side clear the initial corner and then look to launch a counter attack.

Have seen next to nothing from home striker Giorginio Rutter thus far.

He was signed for big money in January from Hoffenheim to help get the goals to keep Leeds up but it's not worked out to date.

This is his 13th league appearance and just his second start. He's yet to score.

Crosses into the box are the away side's main threats this evening.

Matty Phillips does well to wriggle away down the Albion left and hits a great deep cross for Darnell Furlong.

He looks for all the world like he's going to volley home at the back stick but it bounces off him and goes harmlessly wide.

Leeds all of a sudden are piling pressure on Albion.

It takes a big deflection off Cedric Kipre and thunders off the foot of the post.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke is yet to see his side score a first half goal in their three matches so far this season.

He'd love one to set them on their way here tonight but it's the away side who are shading it at present.

Slacky, Portsmouth: Am excited for Archie Gray and Ethan Ampadu, good young talent to really cherish so far for Leeds. Keep them fit and hungry and hopefully that filters through to the rest of the squad.

Gray is the great-nephew of Leeds United legend Eddie Gray and the 17-year-old looks an outstanding prospect.

Luke Ayling on this right hand side makes these late runs every time and the Albion back line have really got to keep him in their eyesight.

He makes those runs more than anyone I've seen from that position.

Great atmosphere inside Elland Road this evening.

The home fans haven't seen their side win a league match since 4 April but they're getting behind their team tonight and the Whites have responded with a bright start.
