Almost a fourth for Real as Dani Carvajal makes a superb run to the back post but his volley is well saved by home keeper Luis Maximiano.

Real Madrid are giving up the odd half chance as they try to keep possession. It'd set up an intriguing finale though if the hosts could score.

Still, it's a great start to the season for Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid. Wesley Sneijder was the last player to score at least three La Liga goals in their first two appearances for the club and that was in 2007.

Almeria have actually had more shots than Real Madrid in this match [17-16] and have given a good account of themselves after Real dominated the early stages.
