  2. 'We need to thrive in the atmosphere'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 7 October 2023

Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest (17:30 BST)

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper talking to Sky Sports about the absence of Taiwo Awoniyi: "It will be different. He has been involved and been important for us. He's picked up a groin injury in the last game that will probably rule him out for a month. We've got some options now from the summer signings and more players available to us. We've got Woody coming in and Divock Origi on the bench, who is getting up to speed."

On the returning Morgan Gibbs-White: "If we can get Morgan on the ball and feeling free and full of himself that is always a positive for our team. We've got a clear plan and, as always, it is about committing to it now."

On the game: "We are expecting a tough game. Everybody knows about the atmosphere here so we've got to try and thrive in that and then attempt to stamp our game as best as we can. There is a lot of experience in their team and they are very clear on how they play and how Roy sets them up. We've got to back ourselves. We've said all season it is about what we do, while respecting the opponent."

It's still stoppage time at Craven Cottage but we're going to build-up to that one at Selhurst Park and bring in all the reaction from the other games that have just finished.

Excellent first half from Burnley, unfortunate to go in at the break 1-1 after conceding that own goal.

But then in the second half, Chelsea came out and showed their class. Raheem Sterling in particular, Cole Palmer - exceptional.

They destroyed the Burnley back line in the second half and it was a fully deserved win for Chelsea.

Some positives to take for Burnley as well.

    Willian (90+2 mins)

    That's the three points safe!

Willian lifts the ball into the box, it is headed back to him and the 35-year-old then drives in a low effort that Wes Foderingham can't stop.

Brentford did not deserve that, at all. Have we, United, got our squeaky bum time luck back again??

McTominay's goals were inspired. But Utd are still woeful. No hiding from it

    Burnley 1-4 Chelsea

Chelsea end a very good week with a thumping win. They fell behind and looked a bit lost but an own goal set them up for a very encouraging second-half display and victory.

Slowly, the Blues are edging their way forward.

It's a result Burnley need to dust themselves down from very quickly.

    Scott McTominay (90+7 mins)

He's done it again!!! What a turnaround.

Scott McTominay is the hero inside Old Trafford. He's come off the bench and found two goals in stoppage time to help them come from 1-0 down, to surely win 2-1.

Harry Maguire flicks it on and McTominay does the rest, beating Thomas Strakosha to his right.

Lyle Foster has been excellent today, he hasn't had much of a supply line in the second half.

He looks for that top corner, it's not a bad finish with not much back lift on the shot.

United have thrown caution to the wind, brought on McTominay and he's come up with the goal.

I think the keeper should do better, but once the ball falls to McTominay it is a good finish.
