Young Boys will have worked on counter-attacking all week, to do that you do need a strong centre forward to play into. Or you have to turn City around and play them further up the pitch.

Save! Jeremy Doku should score, though.

Jack Grealish finds him in space on the right side of the box. He cuts inside his marker but fires his shot straight at Anthony Racioppi, who saves with his right hand.

Erling Haaland is in behind the home defence and gathers a neat pass forward but he fails to get clean contact on his shot and it is bundled away from goal.

Ederson is an observer at the moment. Young Boys are struggling to get out of their own half as City dominate.

Lovely move by Newcastle as Bruno Guimaraes plays a perfect ball over the top for Miguel Almiron, who goes for the volley but doesn't connect. A big opportunity.

There wasn't much complaining from Newcastle players, which tells me it probably shouldn't be a penalty.

My initial reaction was that it isn't a penalty.

The flares have been set off in the heart of the stands now. Proper carnival atmosphere.

Another flowing break by Borussia Dortmund as the ball is once again worked to Donyell Malen inside the box, but his shot is deflected behind for a corner. Marcel Sabitzer sends the ball in but Joelinton heads away.

Another decent chance for City.

Borussia Dortmund have already posed more of a threat to Newcastle United in the first 15 minutes than PSG did in the entirety of the last Champions League game here. It's very open and Nick Pope has excelled on three occasions.

The Young Boys fans are bang up for this. Plenty of noise coming from them, especially against any decision they feel has gone against them.

Dortmund are a threat, there's no doubt about that.

They have shown in the opening 15 minutes that they are going to cause problems from open play and set-pieces.

Lewin Blum has taken a blow to the face so he's going to need some stuffing up his nostril to stem the flowing blood.

Jack Grealish takes advantage of his absence to whip a cross in that is headed behind.
