Owen Dale dances down the left, cuts inside onto his right and unleashes a low drive which glances off a defender's shin and needs a fine save with a strong right hand from Grant Smith down at his near post.

His trailing leg manages to corral the ball before it squirms into a dangerous area too. Good goalkeeping in these testing conditions.

It's better from Bromley, it's been a decent start to the second half, they're showing more intent.

They're pressing higher up the field, not letting Blackpool have comfortable possession.

They're going more direct.

Richard O'Donnell is called into action with Deji Elerewe (the marauding defender, remember) sending in a fierce drive from 25 yards which skids off the wet, artificial surface down to his right. A good parry away from danger, that.

Elerewe got the winner against Woking last week and is clearly in the mood for more glory.

Bromley are pressing Blackpool far higher up the pitch in the opening few minutes of the second half and when they are in possession are looking for a direct ball forward.

Neil Critchley's Blackpool will have to weather a spell of pressure.

Bromley manager Andy Woodman told BBC MOTD Live:

"We've got to get a bit more pressure high up the pitch, I thought we were a bit passive. We'll make some changes.

"The early goal killed us a bit. We have to take our chances and got to get more pressure and balls into the box, I think.

"They are a quality outfit and they have punished us. We had a couple of moments ourselves and we didn't pull the trigger.

"2-0 is a dangerous scoreline - if we get one back this place will be rocking and we might be able to get ourselves back in the game."

It was some finish from the Blackpool man to give his side an early lead...

Two beautiful finishes have given Blackpool a healthy half-time advantage and they will already have one eye on the second round.

Shayne Lavery burst free to produce a clinical finish from the left and Karamoko Dembele coolly slotted the second from the right to complete a solo goal which was almost as devastating as the counterattack which brought the early opener.

Bromley have been chasing bright Tangerine shadows for much of the half.

Work for Ravens boss Andy Woodman to do in the next 15 minutes.

Can Bromley find a breakthrough or will Blackpool put the outcome beyond doubt in the five additional minutes at the end of an entertaining first half?

Blackpool are getting so much space in between the lines with the one twos that they're able to play at the edge of the box.

It's too easy for them in front of the Bromley defence.

Blackpool are pinging it side to side and playing around the Bromley defenders like prime Barcelona in spells here in the final third.

Karamoko Dembele is down on his haunches. The former Celtic youngsters has shone so far. I am sure not even the Bromley fans would want him to have to depart the action early.

He seems ok. Rub some dirt on it, son. Oh, it's a plastic pitch... umm.

Shayne Lavery takes his turn to glide in from the right and then bounce a one-two off a teammate only for his low left-footed strike to flick off a defender's heel and past the base of the upright.

Blackpool look dangerous every time they come forward, if truth be told.

Bit of treatment for Bromley keeper Grant Smith, who will try to get through to half-time to presumably have some more.

He is able to bend low enough to scoop up a deflected shot from Karamoko Dembele from the edge of the box, at least.

Andy Woodman, a former goalkeeping coach for Arsene Wenger and Alan Pardew, among others, will want his No1 to make a speedy recovery.

The heavens have opened over Hayes Lane. A sympathetic background for the Ravens' currect predicament perhaps.

As fans scuttle for shelter from the elements Bromley scuff a half-chance wide in a goalmouth melee after Byron Webster's header dropped into the six yard box.

Blackpool have lost their last three away ties in the FA Cup 2-1.

That is not going to happen tonight.

Bromley are facing only a second defeat in 18 games and we've played barely half an hour.

Karamoko Dembele is a fantastic talent, on loan from Ligue 1 club Brest, coming through the Celtic youth system.

Very direct, very quick. First thing is to drive at the centre halves. A great one two, he's still got a lot of work to do but he keeps his head, he doesn't try and hit it too hard and caresses it into the net.

A really good finish from a confident young player.
