  1. CLOSE!published at 19 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

Big chance for Real Madrid as they find Federico Valverde in space on the right side of the box.

He feeds it across to Joselu but his sliding effort is kept out by Alvaro Valles.

Ah, the offside flag goes up. It wouldn't have counted.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

An extremely ambitious effort from Saul Coco as he goes for goal from fully 40 yards out.

The ball sails harmlessly over the bar. Another wasted free-kick but I guess you have to admire the confidence to have a go from there...

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

The home side have clicked into gear in the past few minutes and come forward again.

Rodrygo tries to work a bit of space on the area of the box but is crowded out and Las Palmas scramble the ball clear.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

Better from Real Madrid as they work the ball nicely through the middle of the pitch and then out to Ferland Mendy on the left.

His low, first-time cross is heading towards Joselu but Saul Coco intercepts in the nick of time.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

Real Madrid are struggling to really get going and when Brahim Diaz overhits a pass to give Las Palmas a throw-in, the TV cameras quickly turn to Vinicius Junior.

I'd imagine he'll get on at some stage but not quite yet.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

A decent spell of possession for Las Palmas in the Real Madrid half, Javi Munoz surges through the middle but his left-footed shot is blocked.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

Las Palmas win a free-kick midway inside the Real Madrid half and have the chance to get men forward properly for the first time.

Jonathan Viera won the free-kick and he takes it as well. A poor delivery and so is the follow-up from Daley Sinkgraven.

A bit of a waste from the visitors.

  8. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

The first chance of the game after Las Palmas give the ball away just inside their own penalty area.

Brahim Diaz tees up Rodrygo but the Brazilian's shot is kept out by Alvaro Valles. It hit him on the shin but it did the job.

  9. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

Las Palmas are playing with a pretty high line and three times already, we've seen Real Madrid attempt long balls over the top.

The latest from David Alaba is closest to paying off but Joselu can't bring it down and ball skids through to the goalkeeper.

I fancy he was offside in any case.

  10. Postpublished at 1 min

    Real Madrid 0-0 Las Palmas

We've got an early stoppage after Eduardo Camavinga stays down having challenged for a header with Las Palmas centre-back Saul Coco.

Camavinga got caught by a boot after a tangle when they both landed - completely accidental - but looks OK to continue.

Real Madrid's 100% start to the season came to an abrupt end on Sunday as they were beaten 3-1 by Atletico in the Madrid derby.

Alvaro Morata scored twice for Atleti with Antoine Griezmann getting the other.

All three goals were headers after crosses from the left so if Las Palmas were looking for a way to get at Madrid, that might be worth a go...
