  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2023

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Everton

This is a very cheap yellow card.

Abdoulaye Doucoure delays play restarting after Dominic Calvert-Lewin is penalised for a free-kick. You can't do that now and get away with it.

Leandro Trossard scores... and hurts himself.

Bukayo Saka heads the ball down and Trossard turns it in from close range, but gets clattered by James Trafford.

The physios are on to see to Trossard but the Gunners lead.

It is fair to say Mason Mount is yet to find his feet at Manchester United.

Many questioned why Erik ten Hag opted to spend £55m to sign Mount from Chelsea in the summer but the United boss is adamant he can be a positive influence.

Today would be as good a time as any to start repaying that transfer fee.

Sean Dyche cannot believe that Everton have not been given a free kick on the edge of the box. He's jumping up and down and appealing to the fourth official.

    Everton now complaining.

James Garner goes down after what he feels is a shove by Eberechi Eze - who is on a yellow - on the edge of the box.

    The referee sees nothing wrong.

    Jordan Pickford gets lucky!

He comes out his area to stop Odsonne Edouard getting around him to slot into an open goal. The ball strikes his face and goes loose - the danger not yet averted - but the flag goes up.

Eberechi Eze's curling pass was a good one but Edouard timed his run in behind badly.

Big chance, loads of space. Great feet, Garnacho comes inside.

Great recovery runs from Luton, the defenders get back.

I don't understand why Mason Mount doesn't start for United.

You invest so much money just to bring him in to sit on the bench.

When Eriksen came in last year you thought it was an improvement but he would not be a long-term option in that midfield.

However Mount having come in to be that long-term option has had to settle for the bench so far

This is a real opportunity for him to make a mark.

I think United have moved the ball well, created some good opportunities but have not had the quality to take them.

It should be alarming for them to see how easily Luton are making chances now though - I'm sure the atmosphere will turn sour if the away side do manage to go ahead.

It's gone into a bit of lull now this game. It remains decent quality, though. Some very nice one-touch stuff from both sides.

Couple of chances for the Hatters. First of all Carlton Morris' header is well saved by Andre Onana - and then the goalkeeper gets down low to keep out Andros Townsend's 20-yard drive.

Matty: Say it quietly, but I feel like we are one Kai Havertz goal away from unlocking his potential. Unbelievable movement today and a couple of half chances already. Just needs more drive in front of goal. That follows a great midweek performance.

This is self-explanatory but Manchester United need a goal.

They are doing most things right, moving the ball into the right areas, playing incisive passes and creating chances.

What they haven't done is make it count.

The longer this goes on, the more nerves will start to set in and the more Luton will fancy their chances of causing an upset.

    Eberechi Eze again.

The ball is fired at him, but his superb flick cushions the ball and releases Odsonne Edouard. He carries the ball and is tackled, prompting shouts for another penalty but it's not given and he's likely offside anyway.

Burnley growing into this. Jay Rodriguez gets the ball outside the box and has a crack. Simple save for David Raya really (although he needed two attempts to grab the ball).
