With the added TV cameras and press here at St James Park tonight some of us reporters are sat alongside the away fans - and they're not overly pleased with what they have seen.
Boro have had all the possession but haven't really created any big chances until Sammy Silvera's shot in stoppage time as they have struggled to break down the Grecians.
And it's not just the Boro fans who are frustrated, manager Michael Carrick doesn't look too pleased either.
