Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, speaking to Match of the Day, says: "Incredible evening. First of all, congratulations to Luton, their players, staff, the atmosphere they created made it a special night to play football and they made it very hard for us.

"They are so good at set pieces and they made us really fight for the game and at the end it was a beautiful win.

"Credit to the opponent, they did really well and cause problems to any team. It's something we have to improve, conceding three goals from home makes life difficult. The team showed spirit, quality, courage to go and go again. We never gave up and tried to the end.

"Big credit to the team, the way they go every three days is remarkable. Luton have been really unlucky with their results, they are well organised and they are a threat."

It's the obsession with having a footballing goalkeeper these days where you forget the fundamentals of shot stopping and collecting a cross.

Raya never looks comfortable from the cross. It's a huge error from the goalkeeper.

"The strength of our team is that we go again. Our team has so much room for improvement, it is an exciting group to work with. But of course now it is a painful moment.

"At this level when you mistake you get punished. We had plenty of moments there where we could hurt them and maybe we just didn't have that final moment there."

On a mistake leading to a goal: "Everyone has a different way to deal with these moments, for me I don't dwell on it and go and feel sorry for myself, I see a coachable point there, something you can teach and work with them to improve on. We need to help them and that is my job."

    Wolverhampton Wanderers

"Really pleased with the performance, it is a big win. Burnley are a good side and they will be a test for many teams in this league.

"We were somewhere caught between having really good control of the game and then feeling we were not really a threat. We need to get more balls in behind, but Burnley are a good side.

"I said to the lads after it is a big win. The group stuck together and kept a clean sheet and it never looked in doubt really once we went in front."
