    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Bournemouth

The Forest fans are still singing about Rob Jones and shouting some expletives in his direction.

There's a huge cheer as he awards the hosts a free-kick.

Could Boly's red card galvanise them?

  2. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Bournemouth

Nuno Espirito Santo reacts to the red card by hauling off striker Divock Origi for centre-back Moussa Niakhate.

Bournemouth also bring on Alex Scott for Lewis Cook.

  3. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

Tottenham have played some nice stuff in London. They win another corner after Son Heung-min carries it down the right and gets a deflection.

    Fulham 0-0 Burnley

Boos ring out around Craven Cottage as Rebecca Welch reaches for a yellow card and waves it in front of Calvin Bassey after his swinging arm catches Josh Brownhill.

Bassey is clearly unhappy with the decision - and so are the locals.

  6. goal

GOAL - Luton 1-0 Newcastlepublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Andros Townsend (25 mins)

Another player to net against their former club!

Kenilworth Road are given something to cheer about as Andros Townsend puts in Ross Barkley's flick-on at the back post.

He glances at the assistant referee to check he's onside and gives him a cheeky smile afterwards.

Townsend then runs over to the touchline to pick up one of Lockyer's shirts and holds it up in tribute. A nice touch.

TheBrightonBard: Are modern keepers not being taught to catch the ball - even at speed? Maybe I’m old school but keepers managed it back in the day rather than parrying it back into danger as Pickford just did

NUFC poor so far. Trippier looking exhausted - badly needs a rest. What is Howe thinking?

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Fulham 0-0 Burnley

Jordan Beyer clatters into the back of Andreas Pereira and Rebecca Welch quickly awards a free-kick but keeps her cards in her pocket.

The free-kick is deflected behind but play is held up after Josh Brownhill is adjudged to have been pushed by Calvin Bassey.

  10. RED CARD - Willy Boly (Nottm Forest)published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Bournemouth

Two yellow cards in 22 minutes and Willy Boly is off!

The City Ground, Nuno and his coaching staff are absolutely fuming with this decision.

Boly wins the ball with successive tackles, but referee Rob Jones has decided that he was out of control with the second tackle and he's caught the ankle of Adam Smith.

It looked like Smith may have caught Boly instead, but with it being a second yellow card it can't be looked at by VAR.

"You don't know what you're doing" and "you're not fit to referee" ring round the City Ground.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

Idrissa Gueye comes sliding in to try and tackle Richarlison. He isn't successful and ends up hurting himself in the process.

He's down getting treatment but when he gets back up, he's got a yellow card wating for him from referee Stuart Attwell.

  13. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Bournemouth

Forest earn their first corner of the day and they opt to take it short.

It is worked to Neco Williams and his effort is blocked.

The ball falls to Anthony Elanga and his shot is also blocked. There's huge shouts for handball.

Is it? It'll be checked of course but play goes on.

  14. 'Chances for both sides but Spurs have been clinical'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

That is a really well worked set piece from Spurs.

They have taken it short, found a runner, got lucky with the rebound falling to Heung-min Son, but if there is any player you want the ball to riccochet to there it is him.

He makes the most of the mistake from the keeper and finds a way to put the ball into the back of the net.

Everton have had their chances but Spurs have been clinical with theirs.

  15. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Fulham 0-0 Burnley

James Trafford is the busiest man at Craven Cottage. The Burnley keeper is out to claim a deflected cross as Fulham continue to drive at their opponents.

Two important saves already by Trafford, with the hosts on top.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Luton 0-0 Newcastle

Anthony Gordon curls it in from the left and Callum Wilson is unmarked for a free header. He just nods it straight at the keeper!

Simply has to score. Massive missed chance for Newcastle.

  17. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Bournemouth

The City Ground crowd are starting to get agitated. That's what one win in 13 does, I suppose.

There's groans as Orel Mangala is caught in midfield as he takes an age to decide what to do, and more follow as Matt Turner delays throwing the ball.

Nicholas: So pleased for Richarlison. He has spoke honestly about his struggles and he worked hard for so long. He deserves a good run of form

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Well taken by Tottenham. The ball pops to Son after the reaction save from Jordan Pickford.

Pickford does well to get everything on it but then it was a simple finish for Son.

  20. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Evertonpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Son Heung-min (18 mins)

Spurs play a short corner to Brennan Johnson and his shot is parried away by Jordan Pickford.

But the Everton goalkeeper is scrambling for the rebound and is beaten by the precision of Son Heung-min's powerful effort.

That's his 11th goal of the season - more than he managed all of last season.
