What's been really good from both sides is the last gasp defending, the blocks, following runners.

It's a tight affair and I didn't think it would be. There were plenty of opportunities in and around the penalty area, Abdul Fatawu has had the outstanding moment but it's a good game of football.

Leeds are dangerous in the transition, but I think Leicester have defended well.

    Two great football teams.

Both wanting to win the game and going hell for leather. It's a joy to watch.

I think we've edged it in terms of chances.

Brilliant 45 minutes of football in a cracking atmosphere.

It's goalless but I'm not totally sure how.

Joel Piroe shanked a great chance to give Leeds the lead inside five minutes before Leicester came so close to an opener when the lively Abdul Fatawu hit a ferocious strike against the Leeds bar.

Can the leaders make the breakthrough after the break or are third-placed Leeds going to become just the second team to take points off the Foxes this season?

One minute added on before the break as Ethan Ampadu thumps a shot past the post for Leeds from 20 yards.

Abdul Fatawu's next shot after his strike that hit the crossbar a few minutes back isn't quite up the same level.

The Leicester forward unleashes a shot from 30 yards out that has people in the stand ducking for cover.

This game is bubbling away very nicely now.

It was just sort of plateauing a little after an entertaining start and then Abdul Fatawu went and nearly broke the Leeds crossbar with a super shot.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

Leeds gaffer Daniel Farke is in the book for his protestations after the away side weren't awarded a penalty a few moments ago.

    Leeds want a penalty now!

From Abdul Fatawu's shot smashing the crossbar Leeds race down the pitch and Crysencio Summerville is in.

He goes down in the area under pressure from Ricardo Pereira but nothing doing.

Actually looks like it was just outside the area and... wasn't much in it.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 34 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

    So close to the opener!

Abdul Fatawu smashes a shot against the Leeds crossbar!

This would have been an absolute beauty as he beats Sam Byram with ease and then drifts in off the right before unleashing a rocket that Illan Meslier can only stand and watch.

    There's the danger for Leeds.

Stephy Mavididi is a real threat to any full-back at this level and he shows Archie Gray a clean pair of heels down the Leicester left.

He can't pick anyone out with his cross but if he can get one v one against his full-back you'd back him to find an end product sooner rather than later.

  11. Horsham no longer lead at Barnsleypublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

Barnsley 2-2 Horsham; Sheppey 1-1 Walsall

The Horsham joy at Oakwell only lasted a few minutes... Fabio Jalo has levelled for Barnsley on the stroke of half-time.

This starts a jam-packed weekend of FA Cup first-round action with 33 ties taking place on Saturday and another five on Sunday.

  12. Horsham lead at Barnsleypublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

Barnsley 1-2 Horsham; Sheppey 1-1 Walsall

No goals at the King Power, but plenty in the FA Cup first round... and what about this... seventh-tier Horsham have taken the lead at League One Barnsley!

A James Hammond penalty has put the Isthmian League Premier Division side 2-1 up at Oakwell on 38 minutes.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 26 mins

Ok, THIS time Sam Byram is booked for fouling Abdul Fatawu.

The Leeds defender needs to be careful now.

  14. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

Sam Byram lucky to escape a booking for pulling back Leicester forward Abdul Fatawu in his own half.

The referee opts to just have a word with the experienced full-back.

The home side are starting to look a little more dangerous as this half wears on.

It's noticeable on the Leeds right that Dan James is being told to help Archie Gray out against Stephy Mavididi.

Crysencio Sumerville has a much freer role down our left.

  16. Walsall back on terms at Sheppeypublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

Ah, sad times at eighth-tier Sheppey (unless you're a Walsall fan) - the League Two Saddlers have levelled through Douglas James-Taylor.

You can tell with Stephy Mavididi when he's on and when he's not.

    Tonight he's on.

  18. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

Crysencio Summerville is in superb form for Leeds at the moment and the winger goes on his first real meaningful foray forward of the night.

He commits a couple of Leicester players before setting up Georginio Rutter.

The Frenchman's shot lacks power but the home side can ill-afford to give Summerville encouragement like that.

  19. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Leeds

This has been as high-quality as I had hoped it would be.

Both teams looks so dangerous when they get on the ball.

The away side win their second corner of the game but it's headed away by giant Dane Jannik Vestergaard.

Mavididi doing his best impression of a turtle there, he didn't want to head that at all.
