It's played all the way back to Aaron Ramsdale, who gets the second touch of the game. This is his first Premier League game since 3 September.

Good atmosphere at 'the Gtech' as the players come out. Should be a good one, this.

A tale of two ends of the ground at the end of the game at Bramall Lane - the home end, thinning rapidly as the final minutes played out were completely deflated seeing their team outplayed on home soil. Many had already left the ground before Oli McBurnie's late consolation header.
Unsurprisingly, Bournemouth's travelling hoard stayed well beyond the final whistle to serenade their team. And why not?
Like in the Newcastle game bournemouth were worthy winners who could have had more than their final tally. Wes Foderingham dropped a bit of a clanger for their second but did well to deny them a fourth, fifth and perhaps sixth goal.
Bournemouth are playing their best football since Eddie Howe left in 2020. It's taken time but Andoni Iraola seems to have them purring.

If Palace don't improve quickly, Eze, Olise and Guehi will be gone and we'll be down.

I don't really understand people's surprise at the way Mikel Arteta has treated Ramsdale. He plays favourites with players regardless of form. Seems to have a thing for getting players to sign contracts and then benching them. Strange bloke. It will cost them trophies but people will ignore it and praise him.

FT: Luton 2-1 Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace's Joel Ward speaking to PLP: "Obviously it's disappointing. In the first half we weren't up to the level we can be.
"We gave ourselves an uphill battle. We did enough in the end to come away with at least a point.
"As players we know when you can eliminate chances and be better. We got ourselves back into the game through a wonder strike from Michael Olise but we didn't hold onto it. We created chances at the end but it was too late.
"In the Premier League you always come up against this sort of run. Only those in the top, top teams don't go through this often. But we know the quality we possess and we'll keep working hard to try to make that right.
"Michael Olise is a huge player for us. You could see that today. He's an exceptional talent. Hopefully it's not too serious injuries for Eberechi Eze and Cheick Doucoure."
FT: Nottingham Forest 2-3 Brighton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton striker Evan Ferguson speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was a mad old game! It was worth it for the three points.
"We've dropped points in those moments [after Lewis Dunk's red card] and today we came together as a team to push over the line.
"Every game there's an opportunity to impress and that is what I hope to do when I come in. The manager is very invested, really emotional and he can't help himself. He wouldn't just walk over to the fans and celebrate!"
Brentford v Arsenal (17:30 GMT)
Brentford's first Premier League game was a 2-0 home win against Arsenal on 13 August 2021 but they are winless in four subsequent meetings in all competitions (D1, L3).
That includes the Gunners' 1-0 victory at the Gtech Community Stadium in a EFL Cup match in September.
The last time Arsenal won twice away to a side from London in a season was in 1992-93, when they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the Premier League and 3-1 in the League Cup, with Ian Wright scoring in both fixtures.
FT: Newcastle 4-1 Chelsea
Newcastle United
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to Premier League Productions: "It was a real statement of character within the squad. We really asked the players to step up, and we really deserved to win. Big positives from today.
"The leaders within the group set the tone - Jamaal Lascelles, Kieran Trippier, Matt Ritchie. They make sure we don't surrender.
On Lewis Miley: "The biggest compliment I can give him is the pass for the first goal - an incredible decision, and he has the right temperament. A lot of young players would have wanted to shoot there. We have high hopes for him."
"If you are disjointed and go away from your principles, you will be in trouble. We try to be us."
FT: Newcastle 4-1 Chelsea
Chelsea
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to Premier League Productions: "It was our worst game of the season. It was tough to be in the stands. We cannot complain about the result, we did not read the game from the beginning. We did not play how we should play, we showed a lack of intensity and energy. Even after we scored, at 1-1, it was a chance for us to force them to play deep, but it was so easy for Newcastle. That is why I am so upset with the performance.
"It is a young team, they need this type of situation to realise. We will go to the hotel, then train early tomorrow, no time off. We cannot blame the players, it is the team together. We need to understand the level we need to compete, and learn about this situation.
"There are many details, many things that build confidence and strength. We already know what is going on, and we will try to change the dynamic."

Fantastic win by Luton Town. They will get better & better from here. Even a mid-table finish in their first ever premier league season is a possibility!

Chelsea were terrible in the second half. I think Newcastle made them play terrible by the way they pressed.
Gordon seems to be really enjoying his time in Newcastle and thought he was really great and caused James loads of problems. James got frustrated and that's what led to him being sent off.
FT: Nottingham Forest 2-3 Brighton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton striker Joao Pedro speaking to BBC Sport: "Great win today, a tough game. We did well and deserved to win.
"[Roberto] De Zerbi always says to be ready. I'm happy to help the team to win today. There are a lot of injuries, the group is strong enough to play and win.
"Now we must think about the Europa League. It was difficult at the end. We kept going and fought to win."

It is head-loss material how Aaron Ramsdale has been treated. He'll be bitterly disappointed with how he's been treated. He had a great relationship with the fans and for Mikel Arteta to say those things and not put those into practice when David Raya has come in will disappoint Ramsdale.
Honesty is the number one thing you want in football, but you don't get it very often.

Arsenal are a 25-goal-a-season man short of really challenging for the title.
Mikel Arteta has won the FA Cup with someone else's team and he's spent over half a billion on players - there comes a time when you have to ask how long are you happy competing for, and how long is it before you need to be challenging.
Arsenal are almost there but with a striker who can score 25 goals a season they would be a serious prospect.

Probably Ramsdale's last match for Arsenal. He'll be off in January, and who can blame him. Arteta has definitely got this wrong.
