    Preston 3-2 Coventry

Preston move up to sixth in the Championship with a hard fought win over a feisty Coventry side who threw the kitchen sink at North End in the second half.

Sky Blues will be gutted not to have got something out of this game.

    Plymouth 3-3 Middlesbrough

We said at half time that this game could go either way at Home Park.

An incredible battle between two hungry teams.

Plymouth's Morgan Whittaker's free kick on the 77th minute gives them a share of the spoils.

    Stoke 0-0 Cardiff

No goals in either of the Championship games involving Welsh sides today.

To be fair, 0-0 was probably a fair result in this one, though Ryan Wintle did miss a very late chance to snatch all three points for Cardiff.

Both sides maintain their recent unbeaten runs in a game that will be quickly forgotten.

    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

    Well, that was eventful.

Swansea have had to play more than an hour with 10 men after Charlie Patino's first-half red card - but they've held on for a draw.

Sunderland will wonder how they've not won this. They've hit the woodwork three times and missed a hatful of chances.

But it could have been worse for Tony Mowbray's men, who have goalkeeper Anthony Patterson to thank for saving Jamal Lowe's first-half penalty.

    Stoke 0-0 Cardiff City

Not a huge amount to report from Staffordshire this afternoon, with only four shots on target all match between both sides.

To be fair, 0-0 was probably a fair result in this one, though Ryan Wintle did miss a very late chance to snatch all three points for Cardiff.

Both sides maintain their recent unbeaten runs in a game that will be quickly forgotten.

    Rotherham 1-1 QPR

Good old ding-dong battle at the bottom of the table this.

QPR took the lead through Ilias Chair but Georgie Kelly levelled for the home side.

The result ends the R's run of six straight losses but does little for either teams' survival hopes.

Grady Diangana has been electric! It’s his work that’s set up both goals down the left. He’s in a great run of form after scoring last time out, too.

It was great work by him to set up sub Semi Ajayi up from the back.

It’s hammering it down at The Hawthorns but the home fans are singing in the rain!
