  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 46 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Blackburn

    Dear me.

Norwich defender Shane Duffy is booked about 20 seconds into the second half.

He takes the ball to be fair to him but the referee deems it overly aggressive.

To rub salt in the wound that's his fifth yellow of the season and he now has a one-match ban.

    When it rains, it pours.

    Right, back under way.

Is it fair to say it's 45 minutes for David Wagner to save his Norwich job?

    Maybe.

While the goals are pouring in at Carrow Road, it was another goal-laden day in the Championship yesterday.

Yesterday's nine matches produced a tasty 23 goals, with Middlesbrough and Plymoyth sharing six of them in a ripsnorter.

Ipswich missed the chance to put real pressure on Leicester's rare defeat on Friday against Leeds, but at least rescued a point at Birmingham and remain seven clear of the chasing pack.

Southampton, West Brom and Preston all underlined their play-off credentials with wins to keep third-placed Leeds firmly in their sights.

But still no joy for bottom side Sheffield Wednesday who went down 1-0 to managerless Bristol City, days after Nigel Pearson's departure.

Casper: As ever, we've created enough chances to be out of sight, but have been wasteful in front of goal. Barnes is right, we need a proven finisher to make all our good approach play worth something.

Barnes is getting mentioned more in this live text than any of the players! To recap, he messaged at 12:16 GMT that Rovers needed a striker to put their chances away.

Keep your messages coming though everyone, in reply to Barnes or just any other observations.

Everything I've been told through the season has been on show today.

It's far too easy for the opposition to get forward, to break lines, to get into the box.

The frightening thing is when we're in possession. When we turn the ball over, we are not set up secure to deal with the counter attacks.

The players are walking off dejected. There is no spark.

It looks like there is no self belief. It's not nice to see.

A bleak 45 minutes for Norwich City in what is becomingly an increasingly tough season.

The whistle is met with loud jeers from the home fans and boss David Wagner has it all to do now.

Tyrhys Dolan gave Rovers an early lead and Sammie Szmodics made it 2-0 after 15 minutes as Blackburn cut through the Canaries at will.

The away side had chances to put the game to bed but Norwich have shown some signs of life.

They're going to need a special 45 minutes now though if they're to avoid a fourth straight loss.

Callum Brittain does well to cut the ball back from the Blackburn right and Tyrhys Dolan looks to kick the leather off the ball when a more cultured finish might be a better option.

Complete air-kick and the chance is gone.

    Norwich 0-2 Blackburn

Blackburn are just trying to draw the sting out of this a little bit after weathering that Norwich pressure.

They work the ball up to the edge of the home area but overplay it a little and lose it when they maybe could have made more of it.

When they start passing it around Norwich can't live with them.

There's something here for Norwich, no doubt about it.

The issue is that if they concede the next goal then it's game over.

    They're dominating right now though.

Fred, London: What do Norwich City's defence and SpongeBob Squarepants have in common?..... They're both yellow and porous.

Chris: Barnes obviously hasn't been following us for long. The club has been very public about how we have little to no money. You won't buy experienced strikers on the money we spent for Semir Telalovic. Simple as.

The Barnes referenced there is from the 12:16 GMT entry who said Blackburn needed a striker. They made it 2-0 about 30 seconds later.

Signs of life from the home side now.

Onel Hernandez, who has not scored at Carrow Road in four years, curls one just wide.

This time the applause from the fans is a bit more encouraging.

You know things aren't going well when your first shot on target draws sarcastic cheers from your OWN fans.

Hwang Ui-jo hits a pretty tame effort from 22 yards that Leopold Wahlstedt is able to comfortably field.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Not the smartest thing.

Joe Rankin-Costello runs in behind for Rovers but he's offside.

He takes the shot anyway after the whistle and he's booked.

David Wagner's first game in charge of Norwich was against Blackburn.

If this stays as it is I would expect his last one will be too.

I've not been very complimentary about Norwich so far today but you have to give credit to Blackburn.

They've smelt blood here and they have been excellent.

The gaps are huge in and around the midfield area.

I don't think its a case of not switching on, there are just more Blackburn bodies.

As soon as Norwich lose the ball they are exposed.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 24 mins

    Norwich 0-2 Blackburn

"I might kick someone, just to make me feel better".

The words of Roy Keane there.

Onel Hernandez, who just can't get in he game at all for the home side, kicks Andrew Moran and is booked.
