Rangers manager Philippe Clement tells TNT Sports: "I saw a lot of things I want to see. With and without ball, the team is growing every week.
"I want to see it for 90 minutes and we're not there yet. In the second half, our tempo dropped. In the end, we need to be very happy with the three points.
"You don't have the ball all the time, we want to be the dominant team. In the football I want to play, everyone has to work hard, even the strikers. I don't care who's scoring.
"Every game you need to look for little details. On the ball, find the space. It's a lot of work from a lot of people, the analysis, staff, everyone together.
"We talked about getting the synergy back with the fans because it was gone. Every meeting, I see people with a lot of attention.
"We're in a good way. It's now about getting stronger physically and confirmation that we don't become sloppy because we're too confident.
"To be competing in every competition and winning trophies, that's what this club wants."

You've got to credit Rangers, they defended well and did well to spoil the game. Even in added time, they never allowed Sparta to get out their own half.
It's huge. They know that if they beat Aris Limassol, that's them. Over the piece, it was a deserved win. The new manager will be delighted with his team.

Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker & manager on TNT Sports
I thought Rangers were excellent in the first half, the only slightly disappointing thing is that it could have been three.
They probably posed themselves a little bit of a problem in the game by not getting those three goals.
FT: Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
Quite simply, if Rangers beat Aris Limassol at Ibrox in their next Europa League game, they'll secure progression from the group.
Danilo's just the third South American to score a goal for Rangers in major European competition.
The first? Brazilian Emerson in 2003. And, of course, how can we forget the unforgettable Alfredo Morelos of Colombia in 2018.
FT: Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
Rangers took a two-goal lead in the opening 20 minutes of a game for only the second time in their last 118 major European matches - the other time was against Red Star Belgrade in March 2022.
Some instant reaction from the Ibrox camp...
Rangers striker Danilo tells TNT Sports: "The manager wanted us to be sharp from the beginning and that's what we did.
Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell tells TNT Sports: "[Danilo] and I have had that football relationship straight away. We know what we want from each other and it's enjoyable to play together."

Derek McInnes
Former Rangers midfielder on TNT Sports
It was always going to be difficult for Rangers to maintain a level of pressure.
They got a wee bit of a fright when Sparta pulled one back but there was no doubt Rangers were the better team.

Lee McCulloch
Former Rangers captain on BBC Sportsound
McCausland was absolutely brilliant. Bubbly, has pace, technical first touch. Tremendous tonight.
Playing in this cauldron, given the magnitude of this game, he looked full of confidence.
I think the fans really took to him. He really gave the stadium a lift.
FT: Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
The second half was more competitive but had to be given how toothless Sparta Prague had been in the first.
Jack Butland also needed to show his quality once again to get his side over the line with a big save in the closing stages.
Rangers are not yet the machine their manager wants them to be but the manufacturing process is well under way and this is a huge victory.
The Rangers fans will expect their rejuvenated side to take care of Aris in the next match at Ibrox.
The final match is away to Real Betis in December, but after putting Sparta to the sword Rangers should have every expectation of reaching the knockout stage of the Europa League.
Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
A big, big three points for the Gers.
Up into second spot in the group they go after a deserved but nervy victory.
Philippe Clement's unbeaten start rolls on.
Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
Sparta think they have a last-minute corner, but the flag goes up for offside.
Relief for the majority inside Ibrox.
Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
Sparta launch it forward but it's out for a Rangers throw deep in their own half.

Brilliant from Butland there, commanding his area. It was a really good delivery but he's timed it perfectly and killed it.
Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
In comes the corner and Jack Butland is up highest to claim brilliantly.
He's been superb again. Rangers' player of the season so far.
Rangers 2-1 Sparta Prague
A deep, deep free-kick for Sparta searches towards the back post, but Tom Lawrence gets there to nod behind.
That's a crucial intervention from the substitute.
