There was probably nothing more likely than there being some kind of VAR intrigue given how football is at this moment in time.
The Rangers fans burst into song as they aimed to rally their players to produce the goal to put the lid on victory.
But then came the twist from Lukas Haraslin - the Sparta Prague top scorer. He was left on the bench at the start but was always likely to be a threat when he did take to the pitch.
It was the right decision to rule out the Danilo strike which followed immediately, albeit agonising for Rangers.
These events of the last few minutes have raised the pressure cooker atmosphere here and it all boils down to a pulsating final few minutes on the way at Ibrox.
