  1. Pompey pretty in pink - goodnight!

    #bbcefl

    Portsmouth midfielder Alex Robertson

It's been a night of sharing in the bottom two divisions - with clubs sharing the points in most of the key matches.

Third versus first and fourth against fifth in League One were both draws, meaning Portsmouth's win carried even more weight to go back level on points with Bolton.

In League Two, the top four all drew, allowing Barrow to jump up to third with a fifth straight victory as they continue to upset the odds.

League One and Two football takes a break this weekend as clubs gear up for the FA Cup second round.

We'll have coverage every day from Friday to Monday of the cup, but the next exclusive League One and Two live text commentary will be on Saturday 9 December.

Thanks for your company this evening, see you in 11 days!

  2. League Two bottom of table

    League Two table graphic

Despite Harrogate's fight to come from two goals down at home to Wrexham, they drop down to 16th place in the table.

That is because Newport's 2-1 win at Morecambe lifts them above Simon Weaver's side.

Doncaster are up two places to 17th after beating Colchester 3-1.

Sutton - who have now drawn their last four league games 1-1 - are still bottom and four points from safety, though they have closed in on Forest Green Rovers, who were thumped 3-0 at home to Bradford.

  3. League Two top of table

    League Two table graphic

Stockport still lead League Two by five points, despite a lack of goals from either side at Salford.

Wrexham stay second after their draw at Harrogate, but are only ahead of Barrow on goal difference after the latter picked up three points at home to Walsall.

Mansfield and Crewe both drop one place - having drawn against Tranmere and Sutton respectively - with Barrow moving ahead of the pair.

Wins for Gillingham and Swindon see them gain two places.

  4. League One bottom half

    League One table graphic

Reading are off the bottom after thumping Carlisle as Cheltenham drop below them after defeat away to Charlton.

Exeter edge one point further clear of Fleetwood in the final relegation spot, as poor winless runs for Port Vale, Cambridge and Burton continue to drag them closer to trouble.

  5. League One top half

    League One table graphic

Bolton remain on top, but only on goal difference as they draw at Oxford and Portsmouth win at Burton.

Pompey will go top if they avoid defeat in a rearranged game away to Northampton on Saturday.

There remains just a point between the Us, Stevenage and Peterborough after the 2-2 draw between those two sides, allowing Derby to move closer in sixth after a fourth win on the trot.

While below the play-off spots, Barnsley won to leapfrog Blackpool, who suffered a surprise loss to Northampton.

  6. League Two full-time headlines

    #bbcefl

    Kyle Wootton
    • Wrexham have missed the chance to close on Stockport's lead in the standings after squandering a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at Harrogate.
    • Stockport were thwarted at Salford, where there were no goals.
    • Bottom side Sutton United are now unbeaten in five games after drawing with Crewe, who drop to fifth place.
    • Mansfield came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at home to Tranmere.
    • Barrow have leapfrogged Crewe and Mansfield to go into the top three after a 2-0 win at home to Walsall.
    • Swindon move up two places to eighth after winning 4-3 at Accrington, though the hosts did score twice in stoppage time.
    • They are still playing in Gillingham's game at home to Wimbledon, where the hosts lead 1-0 in a game that was delayed due to a power cut.
  7. League One full-time headlines

    #bbcefl

    Barnsley v Wycombe
    • Portsmouth have gone level on points with Bolton at the top of League One, thanks to a 2-0 win at Burton.
    • Bolton have been unable to find a breakthrough at Oxford and lead the standings on goal difference after a 0-0 draw.
    • Stevenage have let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at home to Peterborough, missing the chance to move up to third place.
    • Reading are still playing but look set to move off the bottom of the table after a 5-1 win at home to Carlisle.
    • Cheltenham have now fallen behind Reading after conceding two penalties to let their lead slip at Charlton and losing 2-1.
    • Wigan have thrashed Fleetwood 3-0, with help from Tom Pearce's bending free-kick.
  8. Gillingham find late goal in League Two

    #bbcefl

They have certainly made the fans wait - no thanks to a power cut - but Gillingham's Conor Masterson has prodded home to make it 1-0 at home to Wimbledon late on.

  9. FULL-TIME

    Accrington 3-4 Swindon

An incredible last few minutes at the Wham Stadium!

Swindon were coasting to three points when they 4-0 up heading into injury time.

But Accrington scored three times through Korede Adedoyin and two from Brad Hills, but the Robins hung on for a second win in three days that was far closer than it should have been.

  10. Delay at Gillingham due to power cut in League Two

    #bbcefl

We are still playing in the second half at Gillingham due to a power cut earlier.

Still no goals from either the hosts or Wimbledon.

But, certainly easier to find the goal with the lights turned on.

  11. Goalkeeping blooper!

    Barnsley 1-0 Wycombe

Barnsley nicked the points at Oakwell and Wycombe goalkeeper Max Stryjek should hang his head in shame!

He dallies with the ball on the edge of his six-yard area with the ball at his feet, loses it to Sam Cosgrove and appeals for a foul.

There is barely a touch on Stryjek and despite his protestations, the goal stands and Barnsley win it.

  12. FULL-TIME

    Milton Keynes 1-1 Grimsby

It was looking like a dream night for David Artell in his first game as Grimsby manager.

His new side dominated the first half and took the lead through Rekeil Pyke.

But despite chances, they couldn't find a second goal and were made to pay when Jack Payne levelled for the home side.

  13. FULL-TIME

    Stevenage 2-2 Peterborough

Terrific midweek action in the LNERico!

Stevenage went in two up through Luther James-Wildin and Ben Thompson, but fantastic response from Posh after the break.

Joel Randall and Ronnie Edwards goals ensure it's a point apiece.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Burton 0-2 Portsmouth

Portsmouth respond to that first defeat of the season at the weekend with a very solid win.

Colby Bishop's pen and Alex Robertson's first senior goal make the difference, but there will be concern over Bishop going off injured at half-time.

  15. FULL-TIME

    Mansfield 2-2 Tranmere

A superb game ends level at Field Mill.

Tranmere took an early lead through Charlie Jolley but Rhys Oates equalised towards the end of the half.

The visitors went back ahead with Rob Apter's goal just after an hour.

But Will Swan, 11 minutes from time, saved the Stags from a second consecutive defeat.

  16. 'No-one's scored against them since October but Oxford came close'

    FT: Oxford 0-0 Bolton

    Peter Rhoades-Brown

Former Oxford United and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

The shot from Thomason, the save from Beadle.

Oxford's goalkeeper had to make a string of saves.

For me that's a fair result, I know a lot of chances fell to Bolton, but no clear cut, some great blocks from both 'keepers.

The two best 'keepers in the league on display tonight.

  17. FULL-TIME

    Oxford 0-0 Bolton

    Third versus first ends goalless.

Bolton's run of six straight wins is over, while Oxford have a first point for new boss Des Buckingham.

  18. FULL-TIME

    Stockport 0-0 Salford

League Two leaders Stockport County are held at home.

They were much the better side and saw Nick Powell hit the bar in the first-half.

Fraser Horsfall had a shot cleared off the line after the break before Alex Cairns came up with a double save for Salford.

But no way through for County, who had won 12 matches on the bounce until defeat last Saturday.

  19. INJURY TIME

    Stevenage 2-2 Peterborough

We're into EIGHT minutes of injury time at the Lamex Stadium, partly caused by an earlier injury to Stevenage's Nathan Thompson.

Plenty of time for a decisive fifth goal.

  20. RED CARD TRANMERE

    Mansfield 2-2 Tranmere

Jordan Turnball sent off for a second yellow card so Tranmere will have to see out six minutes of stoppage time with 10.
