Cian Harries makes a great challenge in the centre circle and it allows the visitors to break forward.

The ball is slipped into Josh Stokes in the area who takes a touch away from his marker but his shot from 12 yards out is a little weak and Ben Hinchliffe is able to make the block with his right boot.

Stockport quickly bring it forward and Isaac Olaofe is released in behind the defence up the left.

He gets into the area but a poor touch cramps his space and Cian Harries gets back to make a vital challenge for Aldershot.

Macauley Southam-Hales has picked up a knock for Stockport so is being brought off.

Jordi van Stappershoef collects a poor corner, then sends a superb throw long up the right wing for Jack Barham to chase.

He's hauled down by Callum Camps and earns the night's first booking.

Stockport have been careless in possession in the final third.

They are getting into decent areas but it is that lack of quality, that final pass.

Paddy Madden is trying to run the game behind the front two but they are not quite breaking through the Aldershot defence.

Aldershot win a free-kick on the left-hand side.

It's taken short down the line and swung back to Josh Stokes on the top of the area.

He turns well into space but a weak shot is fielded easily by Ben Hinchiffe for Stockport.

They work it to Paddy Madden on the right-hand side of the area and he's cross bobbles awkward across goal and is hacked away for a corner.

The set piece from the right is swung to the far post where Madden gets up for a clean header but he can't find the target.

Not a bad chance.

I know we are not spoilt for chances and goalscoring opportunities but it has been a decent game, it feels like it is bubbling.

Both teams are looking to play forward. You feel there is so much to come from this game.

And even nicer now from Aldershot.

A superb ball to Callum Camps at the far post.

Camps brings it down and pokes it across goal.

An excellent stretch from Aldershot goalkeeper Jordi van Stappershoef prevents the ball leaking across to a blue shirt at the far post.

Stockport trying to respond.

They switch the play from right to left and Callum Camps darts in and plays a neat one-two to get in on goal.

He's smothered out of it by a couple of white shirts and the offside flag was up anyway.

But better from the home side.

Aldershot so close to taking the lead.

Josh Stokes turns his man down the left and drives into the area.

He pulls the ball back for Jack Barham but he can't open his body up enough to steer his shot wide of the goalkeeper.

It hits Ben Hinchiffe in the chest in the Stockport goal before the ball is cleared for a corner.

The visitors come forward again.

Lorent Tolaj does well in midfield to first hold the ball up and then slip a pass to Tyler Frost.

He drives towards the penalty area but it's a weak left-foot shot straight at the goalkeeper.
