All times stated are UK

  1. Good night

Okay, we'll call that a wrap.

Celtic and Rangers continue to pull away from the rest, only three points cover the teams from third to sixth, and Aberdeen drop closer to the bottom.

We'll be back with more at the weekend.

  2. 'Pleasing & disappointing aspects' for Naismith

    FT: Hearts 0-1 Rangers

Hearts head coach Steven Naismith tells BBC Scotland: "When we moved the ball without overthinking it, we were decent and created chances.

"We have a big chance in the first half [through Alex Cochrane] then we lose a poor goal. When you play the Old Firm, you need to make sure you don't unravel and I don't think we did.

"We changed the shape at half-time, it helped us and have us more of a threat.

"There's some pleasing aspects and some disappointing ones."

  3. 'I see a team now' - Clement

    FT: Hearts 0-1 Rangers

Rangers manager Philippe Clement tells BBC Scotland: "We made if difficult for ourselves. If you have five big chances in an away game, we should at least score three - and then it would be a different game.

"Then the belief stays with the other side with long balls and throw-ins. If one ball drops badly, you can be in trouble, but the team stood firm. We didn't give away many chances. We were strong in the duels, but we need to finish off our chances.

"I told them in the dressing room they are fighting now, they are a team. Whoever comes in does the job and works hard. Is everything perfect? No, but I see a team now. This mentality makes a difference."

    Philippe Clement
  4. 'We missed four chances from three yards'

FT: St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "It's so frustrating. Arguably, we played better than when we beat them 4-0. We missed four chances from three yards out. Then it's a poor decision at the end which leads to the penalty.

"I'll take what I can out of it, the boy's spirit still has to be positive. We haven't become a bad team overnight. The performance will be masked by the result as always, but we have to take our chances to win football matches

"If you don't take chances from three yards out, you don't deserve it. We left ourselves open. It's a little spell, a three week period where things have gone against us. There's still a lot of confidence and belief in the camp. We have to be more clinical."

  5. *Sportscene is on klaxon*

You can catch highlights and analysis from tonight's action on Sportscene, which is on BBC One Scotland right now.

  6. Kilmarnock 'different animal' - McInnes

    FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes: "Any time you come to Pittodrie and get a result as an away team you have to do a lot of things right. We were competitive throughout, we went for an aggressive team, we had good ball winners in the middle of the park.

"I thought in the turnovers we had good moments to counter. We had some good moments and chances. But it's a real moment of quality that separates the teams.

"The way David (Watson) receives the ball and wheels, and sticks it in the top corner, it's a fantastic finish. I'm so pleased for him, because he missed a real chance on Saturday against Hearts and it was annoying him - and me.

"Delighted for the supporters, they followed us away last season with very little to cheer about. I feel we're a different animal this season and it's important to continue with out home form, have a performance to beat the Old Firm, which we've done, and be better on the road.

"We've ticked that box, it's a good reference point and we can have more away days like today."

  7. Winning 'only way' to ease pressure - Robson

    FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Rangers

Aberdeen manager Barry Robson: "It was disappointing. We had lots of possession and huffed and puffed but never cut Kilmarnock open.

"They obviously get the sucker punch at the end. But if you're not playing or creating chances to go and win it, don't lose the game and go and get a clean sheet.

"It's a worldie of a strike right into the top scorner. But we need to be more clinical and pick points at home.

"I'm not going to use the excuse of tiredness, I'm not interested in that. We had possession without cutting them open. You need to give Kilmarnock credit, they're a difficult side to score against.

"I don't like to be down there [at the bottom of the league] but when I see the players and the way they work and the way they are are in the building, and there have been times this season they haven't got what they deserved.

"But I've said to them it's a tough and hard game and you need to keep fighting and battling."

Asked if he is confident he can turn things around, Robson adds: "Of course I am. I've been in a lot of difficult situations throughout my career. And as I said to the players, you stand up and fight and run for your club. And they'll do that."

On the pressure increasing on his own position: "By winning games. That's the only way [to turn things around] and that's what we'll aim to do.

"We'll be in tomorrow, we'll go through things we didn't do so well tonight. And we'll prep for Hearts."

  8. 'It was important we got points' - Levein

FT: St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein tells BBC Scotland: "It was a fairly even contest, they had the better of the first half and tested us in the second. There was limited chances, we both had them. We left it late that's for sure.

"We played well in the last two matches without getting any rewards, so it was important that we got points this evening. Some of our play was good, some was a bit scrappy, I'll accept that, because it was quite tense.

"We defended well, St Mirren didn't have many clear-cut chances. Neither did we, but that was the type of game it was."

  9. Hibs on the right path?

    FT: Celtic 4-1 Hibernian

Nick Montgomery has only lost twice in the league since taking over at Hibs in mid-September - away to Rangers and Celtic.

On both occasions they conceded four - and it could have been more.

"They look like they have an idea of what they are trying to do but the transition is too open for games like this," says Sportsound pundit Michael Stewart.

"Once the manager gets a few recruits in and his message gets solidified more, I can see there's progression to be made."

  10. 'The first two goals are totally avoidable' - Montgomery

    FT: Celtic 4-1 Hibernian

Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery tells BBC Scotland: "The most disappointing thing was the manner of the goals we conceded.

"They never carved us open really, it was our own doing, just poor defending. The first two goals are totally avoidable.

"We had two one-on-ones in the first half. If one of those goes in, it gives us a chance to get back into the game.

"Second half, we started brightly and, for me, it's a soft penalty (for Celtic's third goal). I've lost count of how many incidents like that we've had and they never go to the screen.

"That killed any momentum we had, but we kept going and got a goal back. In patches, we played good stuff and it was good to see some of the young boys on at the end."

Hibs were well beaten at Celtic Park
  11. 'Johnston needs to do more' - Rodgers

    FT: Celtic 4-1 Hibernian

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praise for Oh Hyeon-Gyu and some criticism for Mikey Johnston as he talks to BBC Scotland.

On the performance: "It was a really good team performance. This could have been a really tricky game for us because Hibs are a really good team. I thought our pressure was really good. Overall, delighted with the performance and I thought we were convincing winners."

On double goalscorer Oh: "He works ever so hard at his game so he's ready when he comes on. I was very, very pleased for him. He's takenhis goals really really well."

On Mikey Johnston: "Mikey needs to do more. That's the reality. He has big talent. When you start the game, we need more impact for him. He's not young, he's 24. At some point, you have to grab the bull by the horns. If any player wants to be a starter here, you have to show that personality."

On Cameron Carter-Vickers going off at half time: "Just a precaution. He felt his hamstring tight. He wanted to continue, but there's no point when we a centre-half on the bench."

    Brendan Rodgers
  12. 'Onslaught of criticism' coming Robson's way

    FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Kilmarnock

    Willie Miller

Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound

It was a poor game, lacking in intensity.

Barry Robson needs to brace himself for quite an onslaught of criticism. The home fans left very unhappy indeed.

  13. Post update

Celtic stay eight points clear after blowing Hibs away. Rangers hang on to their coattails and remain unbeaten under Philippe Clement.

Kilmarnock win away for the first time this season and Aberdeen drop to 11th place.

St Johnstone snatch a big three points at the death.

  14. FULL-TIME Hearts 0-1 Rangers

A huge, huge three points for Rangers.

They made it hard for themselves, hanging on a bit in the end after missing a load of chances.

But Hearts couldn't make them pay as goalkeeper Jack Butland again emphasised his importance to this Rangers team.

In-form Abdallah Sima with the only goal in the first half.

  15. FULL-TIME St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

Chris Kane's 95th-minute goal gives St Johnstone a precious three points.

The substitute's poor penalty was saved but the rebound gave him a second bite.

St Mirren will be kicking themselves after passing up a few good opportunities.

St Johnstone nudge up to 10th and the Paisley side remain fourth.

  16. Post update

    Hearts 0-1 Rangers

From the corner, Lawrence Shankland gets another shot away but it's blocked brilliantly.

Hearts are giving it the kitchen sink treatment now.

  17. Post update

    Hearts 0-1 Rangers

Hearts are somehow still alive and have a corner.

In it comes from Alex Cochrane, but Lawrence Shankland's header is saved easily before Kenneth Vargas has a shot blocked moments later.

  18. CLOSE!

    Hearts 0-1 Rangers

Abdallah Sima should have a second.

Again he latches on to a pass over the top but scuffs his shot wide.

  19. GOAL St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren

    Chris Kane

The sub steps up... It's saved! But he sticks away the rebound.

    Late, late drama!

    St Johnstone goal
  20. PENALTY TO ST JOHNSTONE

    St Johnstone 0-0 St Mirren

Charles Dunne with a clumsy swipe - penalty to the home side deep into stoppage time!
