  2. 'Lessons to be learned' - Doolanpublished at 22:13 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2023

FT: Raith Rovers 4-3 Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle manager Kris Doolan describes the defeat as "a really sore one".

"I think the positives are that we scored three goals in the second half," he tells BBC Scotland.

"Raith have scored late goals numerous times this season, but to lose two is a sore one.

"The positives in there are that we managed to pull it back and take the lead. We probably had another shout for a penalty, but still there are lessons to be learned.

"We do not dwell on it. We move on, we learn, take the positives and get better.

"To come here and score three goals in the second half gives us confidence. We maybe have to learn to manage the game better but some positives to take away."

  3. 'Real good feel factor' - Eastonpublished at 22:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2023

FT: Raith Rovers 4-3 Partick Thistle

Raith Rovers midfielder Dylan Easton is relieved to have secured the three points.

"In the first half, I thought we controlled the game," he tells BBC Scotland.

"We know Partick Thistle are a very good team, we knew it was going to be a shift and it was all about starting the second half well. We are delighted to get the three points at the end.

"There is a real good feel factor about the club in terms of the new owners coming in.

"We are going to take it one game at a time, but I think, if we keep going the way we are, we are still picking up three points.

"We have played everyone, we know how everyone is and this league is so so tough.

"We get back to the training ground on Monday and we will look forward to our next challenge against Arbroath."

  4. Murray wants to add Bolt-style pacepublished at 22:09 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2023

FT: Raith Rovers 4-3 Partick Thistle

Ian Murray is full of praise for Callum Smith after the substitute forward's equaliser at 3-3.

"Smith has gone away and worked incredibly hard on the technical side of the game," the Rovers manager tells BBC Scotland. "He has come on tonight and given me another headache ahead of Wednesday night's game.

"When asked about the January transfer window, Murray says: "Hopefully there is business to be done. I am very happy with the squad, we are really strong when everybody is fit.

"We maybe lack someone with raw pace. I think that is really important in this league. We have got good technical ball players, but I think everybody would love a winger with Usain Bolt-style pace."

Murray also reflected on going top of the Championship table. "I would prefer it was the end of May, but I am delighted," he added. "We have worked incredibly hard, it is a long way to go."

  5. 'Late goals not a coincidence' - Murraypublished at 22:06 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2023

FT: Raith Rovers 4-3 Partick Thistle

Raith Rovers manager Ian Murray is understandably "delighted" with his side's win.

"I spent a lot of time on the touchline trying to galvanize us because we went 3-2 down," he tells BBC Scotland.

"I thought we scored our second goal a wee bit too early, but also they scored poor goals from our point of view defensively.

"I think the only saving grace from that third Partick goal was that we had time to come back.

"I do not think it is a coincidence how many late goals we have scored this season. It is not just the physical aspect, it is also the mental aspect. The players deserve all the credit coming their way at the moment."
