Raith Rovers have certainly been the better side. They have forced Thistle into a lot of errors. It's probably the poorest I've seen Thistle, but much of that is down to the way Rovers are playing.

Raith Rovers being brilliant... no surprise.

Partick Thistle being disappointing... a big surprise.

An impressive showing from Raith, but goodness me, that was a very poor half from Thistle.

Rovers just had a late chance on the counter-attack, but the eventual shot goes over the bar.

Another great save from Jamie Sneddon - he's well on his way to redeeming himself now.

Lewis Vaughan gathers the ball on the edge of the box, gets himself the right way round, tries the shot and the Thistle goalkeeper does well to save.

Thistle have another corner.

It's a lovely delivery, but Daniel O'Reilly manages to win the header and clears the ball before it eventually goes out for a goal kick.

Now I've drawn attention to Jamie Sneddon, we're all looking at him, eh?

Bet he wishes we weren't... got away with one there, far from convincing...

Just as I say that Dylan Easton has a shot from the inside of the box. It's fired right at Jamie Sneddon and the ball hits off his chest.

Up the other end, Thistle's Kerr McInroy also tries his luck. The shot is deflected out for a corner but they can't make anything of it.

Thistle just seem to be struggling to put it all together in the final third in the opening half an hour.

They've been getting forward but are yet to find a response to that Daniel O'Reilly goal.

Here's that moment to forget for Jamie Sneddon...

Dylan Easton goes down after a challenge from Jack McMillan - it's right in front of the referee, who doesn't give the foul.

The Rovers midfielder stays down but eventually gets back to his feet and looks to be okay.

Lewis Neilson tries a volley from the edge of the box and it looks to fly just wide.

After seeing the replay, it maybe wasn't that close from the on-loan Hearts defender, but Thistle are responding well to conceding that early goal.

It all comes from yet another Rovers corner, but it's a really bad mistake from the Thistle goalkeeper, who should be doing better to keep the shot out.

Lewis Vaughan is also trying to claim the goal as his own, but it looked like Daniel O'Reilly got the final touch on it.

I really hope the camera never caught me gawping there...

I genuinely thought Jamie Sneddon, the Thistle 'keeper, hadn't appeared for the handshakes.

My goodness, that goalkeeper kit is very, very, very similar to their awfy looking away strip.

Thankfully Sneddon is very much on the pitch and having work to do very early on.
