  2. Rare two in a row for Celtic?published at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Celtic 0-2 Hearts

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

This is as poor as Celtic have been at home in quite some time. No sign of a comeback at all.

You have to go back a decade for the last time they lost two league matches in a row. They also haven't lost here in the Premiership since St Mirren won on 30 January 2021.

  3. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Oh dear, Bruce Anderson.

The substitute has the opportunity to sneak victory for the hosts, but his effort bounces off the upright.

When things aren't going your way, they aren't going your way.

  4. PENALTY TO LIVINGSTONpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnock

Handball... A lifeline for the league's bottom team.

  5. Postpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Nick Montgomery is rolling the dice... Christian Doidge replaces Dylan Levitt as Hibs desperately chase an equaliser.

Two corners in succession go to waste, however.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

Mika Biereth springs the offside trap, but can't get the ball out from under his feet and Zach Hemming races out to make the save.

  7. Postpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnock

Andrew Dallas finds himself racing through after a ball over the top in search of his first Kilmarnock goal.

He fails to find the target and his blushes are spared by the offside flag.

  8. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

Hibs delivery into the mixer causes havoc. Dylan Vente dummies a Will Fish header, causing Dimitar Mitov to spill his relatively simple collection.

The ball then bounces to Jair, who swipes at the ball but his close-range scuffed effort is blocked by the combination of a couple of defenders and collected by a relieved Mitov.

  9. Forrest on as fifth Celtic replacementpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Celtic 0-2 Hearts

Last throw of the dice for Celtic, who are struggling to create chances.

James Forrest replaces Greg Taylor and it now looks like a back three for the hosts.

There is just one Forrest on the pitch, however, with brother Alan having been withdrawn by Hearts.

  10. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

St Mirren have now been awarded an indirect free-kick in the Motherwell box, after Georgie Gent lies on the ball to stop the hosts getting to it.

It's eventually blocked behind for a corner.

  11. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Ross County 0-0 Dundee

Huge chance for Dundee. Owen Beck swings a free-kick onto the head of Amadou Bakayoko at the back-post but he heads it over from a yard out.

He had gotten so high with his jump that he had a hard time nodding down the way.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

Callum Slattery now wants a penalty after Alex Gogic sends him to ground inside the box.

VAR Alan Muir has a look and says nothing doing.

  13. Double Hearts changepublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Celtic 0-2 Hearts

Hearts withdrew scorer Stephen Kingsley, who was struggling, at the break and now make two more changes.

Kenneth Vargas and Barrie McKay take over from Aidan Denholm and Alan Forrest and join fellow substitute Toby Sibbick on the park.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

Motherwell carve out their best chance of the game by miles, and really should be in front.

Blair Spittal puts Alex Gogic on his backside, cuts onto his right foot, but slides his shot wide of the far post.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

Liam Kelly has come under fire recently after a string of mistakes, but he has been superb today and springs to his right to make another excellent save as the ball looked set to nestle in the corner.

  16. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Livingston 0-0 Kilmarnock

Killie go close again, and guess who creates it?

Danny Armstrong dances down the right and drills one across the face with both Kyle Vassell and David Watson in the middle, but neither can get onto the end of it.

  17. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

David Marshall is at full stretch to push a Fran Franczak header wide.

No idea how the teenager had all that space in the box, mind you. Hibs are being outfought and outworked.

  18. 'Another change for lifeless Celtic'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Celtic 0-2 Hearts

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

It's poor from Celtic, with no discernible rise in quality despite three half-time substitutions. Hearts are comfortable, and their keeper Zander Clark hasn't really been called into action much in the whole game, far less in this second half, with Celtic requiring two goals.

Luis Palma the latest to get the hook, with Alessandro Bernabei getting a rare appearance under Brendan Rodgers.

  19. ‘Easton magic!’published at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    Dundee United 0-1 Raith Rovers

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tannadice

    That is absolutely sublime!

Sam Stanton’s found Dylan Easton with a wonderful threaded pass, and the Raith forward’s twisted and turned about four times just inside the box before curling an exquisite left-foot curler high into the far corner!

    Easton’s ninth of the season!

  20. 'Carey having a stormer for Saints'published at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2023

    St Johnstone 1-0 Hibernian

    Amy Canavan
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Nothing less than Graham Carey deserves, what a game he is having.
