If St Johnstone's defence can hold firm until the last 10 minutes or so, they will still believe they can take something from this game.

That said, such is the dominance from Rangers it really does look like it’s only a matter of time before the second goal comes.

Credit to Duk, he is been battling away in the land of the giants that is the Livingston defence.

What he may lack in size, he makes up for by way of strength, determination and skill.

Tony Gallacher is on for Fran Francjak as St Johnstone manager Craig Levein mixes things up.

A little selfish there from Cyriel Dessers as he advances to the edge of the St Johnstone penalty area with options left and right. He shoots and it's a great save from Dimitar Mitov.

Moments later, Mitov excels again to beat out a bouncing Sam Lammers effort.

With the size the visitors have in their team, you feel they will at some point benefit from one of the James Penrice corners the home side have been giving away.

Dimitar Mitov keeps St Johnstone in the game with a stunning block to keep out Sam Lammers' shot.

Cyriel Dessers goes down in the aftermath but there's nothing in that.

Chris Kane tries to lead a St Johnstone counter but he's all alone and eventually fouls Dujon Sterling.
