Fulham want a penalty as Bobby De Cordova-Reid goes down under challenge from Pau Torres.

There was a little nudge in the back from the Villa defender but not enough for a penalty. VAR checks and quickly concurs with the on-field decision.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

    It should be 1-0 Bournemouth!

The defence is caught asleep as Justin Kluivert chases a ball down the line. He gets into the box and tees up Dominic Solanke, but his low strike is denied by Martin Dúbravka.

    Fulham 0-0 Aston Villa

Good ball over the top from Andreas Pereira for Rodrigo Muniz to run on to.

The in-form striker hits it on the bounce but slices the shot wide under pressure from Aston Villa centre-back Clement Lenglet.

    Tottenham 0-0 Wolves

Hit it! Ben Davies does not need a second invitation as the ball bounces up nicely for him on the edge of the Wolves box.

Sweet connection but it is always rising.

Spurs are cranking up the pressure with a lot of possession. But Wolves, as you would expect under Gary O'Neil, are well drilled and coping more than fine.

This one is a touch scrappy at the moment. There's plenty of commitment from both sides, just lacking a bit of quality in the passes.

    Burnley 0-1 Arsenal

Leandro Trossard shows no ill effects of that early knock as he dashes clear of the Burnley defence.

Picking up a delightful ball through by Bukayo Saka, Trossard sprints towards goal and tries to round James Trafford.

But the Burnley keeper gets a foot to the ball and stops the Arsenal forward sticking in a second.

A strong suspicion of offside against Trossard though.

This isn’t the first time Martin Odegaard has punished teams from the edge of the box. Surely part of match prep and training during the week for Burnley would have been to make sure he’s not given space in and around the edge of the box for cutbacks. But here he was in acres of space to control the ball and pick his spot. I expect Kompany will be fuming with his midfield here.

    Fulham 0-0 Aston Villa

Jacob Ramsey is looking sharp for Aston Villa. Good signs for the midfielder after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

He jinks inside from the left and has a pop from the edge of the area. Dragged wide.

Burnley can't get out. As the season has gone on, they have become a bit more pragmatic.

But this is a confident Arsenal team. They are on a bit of a run and are fancying this one in the early stages.

    Burnley 0-1 Arsenal

What sort of response can Burnley muster? A bit of huff but not enough puff.

It's been a chastening season for the Clarets and the atmosphere among the home fans already has a sense of resignation.

"One-nil! To the Arsenal..." is the chant which can be heard in East Lancs.

I'm just watching that contest between Gabriel and Fofana.

Fofana wins the free-kick again and rolls Gabriel. It's one to keep an eye on.

All pretty quiet at Craven Cottage since that early Ollie Watkins disallowed goal.

Both sides are still trying to feel their way into the game as Rodrigo Muniz scuffs a shot wide from 20 yards out.

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

Oooh Neto is lucky to get away with this one as he is far too casual on the ball and is closed down quickly by Anthony Gordon, but the Bournemouth goalkeeper's clearance hits the Newcastle forward and bounces wide of goal.

    Blushes spared.

Glorious chance! It falls to a South Korean star... nope, not that one.

Hwang Hee-Chan slashes the ball wide from close range after Spurs keeper Guglielmo Vicario could only parry Nelson Semedo's stinger.

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil was ready to jump up for joy. He thought it was a certain goal.

What a finish this is. It's absolutely brilliant. Arsenal's first real attack.

Martinelli feeds it to Martin Odegaard and he takes one touch and hammers a left-footed shot into the corner. It was a really good first touch and it is a devastating finish.

He pings the ball into the corner. It is the purest of strikes and Arsenal are off to a flyer again.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February

    Nottm Forest 0-0 West Ham

Big save by Alphonse Areola as the West Ham goalkeeper does really well to keep out Anthony Elanga's first-time effort from close range.

    Breakthrough!

Burnley did not have a chance to take before Arsenal take the lead.

And it's a Martin Odegaard special. Crisp, accurate strike from outside the box, straight into the bottom right corner.

Lovely pick out from Gabriel Martinelli, by the way. He looked up on the left and found his captain.

We saw Burnley play at Liverpool last week and while they lost the game, they performed OK.

They had big chances but didn't take them. They must take them this afternoon.

  20. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February

    Nottm Forest 0-0 West Ham

Good atmosphere as ever at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest started the day just two points above the relegation zone so they will be targeting this one for three points.

No chances yet for either side, however.
