  6. Luton full of hopepublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Luton 1-2 Man Utd

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Kenilworth Road

Luton Town go off to a thunderous ovation from their fans at half-time. The Hatters have flown at Manchester United since going 2-0 down so early on and have been the more positive side since.

Manchested United, while looking a threat on the break, have looked a mess in so many other areas, summed by Harry Maguire's agricultural block Carlton Morris that earned him a yellow card.

And Casemiro was lucky to still be on the pitch at the break.

Scott McTominay is ready to come on, so he will presumably replace Casemiro.

  8. 'Game-plan went out the window'published at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT: Sheff Utd 0-5 Brighton

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United defender Ben Osborn on Sky Sports: "I thought we started the game okay to be fair, with 11 men. We had a game-plan we'd been working on all week. Obviously that goes out the window when we do go down to 10 and to put the nail in the coffin we conceded two goals straight away after that which aren't great, especially from a set-piece.

"At 2-0 we did okay and had a chance potentially to get back in the game but the goal got disallowed. We have come out second half with another game plan to keep it tight, look for set-pieces and see if we can make it a nervy finish. But when the third goal goes in that completely kills it."

  9. 'A harsh scoreline'published at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT Sheff Utd 0-5 Brighton

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder to Sky Sports: "We got off to a decent start but when you down to 10 men in this league it's a tough ask. If you go down to 10 men against a team like Brighton they move you about or all over the pitch and it can expose you. We are disappointed with a couple of the goals that we conceded.

"The game plan at half-time was to go deep into the game and if there was going to be some decisions made by myself to open up we'd have done it and stuck some players at the top of the pitch up and go for it. We got to 75 minutes conceded one then another. It's a trend this year that goals in one quickly one after the another, which obviously takes the game away from us. At three or four the game is gone.

"The way they move the ball about then fatigue sets in. But it's about not feeling sorry for yourself. You are at a low and you are in the at moment and unfortunately it goes to five. It looks like a hell of a beating but I thought the attitude of the players were great. We asked them to stick in there, go deep. We had a couple of half chances which might have made it interesting. It's a harsh scoreline but it's a harsh division."

  10. 'No time to point fingers'published at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT Sheff Urd 0-5 Brighton

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder on Sky Sports: "We have to do a lot of work the training ground with 11 men, let alone 10. But we should do better. We can't feel sorry for ourselves, things aren't going our way at the moment. After the Villa game we showed an incredible attitude at Luton and we have to show that same attitude during the week and then at Wolves next Sunday.

"It's a difficult place at the moment because we are up one week and now we feel down and not great about ourselves. This is the time that you are judged at every level as a professional footballer. Not when the sun is shining, it's easy and you are winning like we were last year. We are in this division and it's ruthless. It's tough and things aren't going our way.

"We just have to keep sticking at it, working together. It's no time to point fingers. No time to go in a different direction. it's time to work together, to get everybody up and help each other. We'd have loved to got off the bottom. We had an opportuity to, but we didn't."

  11. 'I don't want to speak of the red card'published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT: Sheffield United 0-5 Brighton

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi to BBC Match of the Day: "I'm delighted for the performance. It wasn't a real, real game because we played 75 minutes with the one player more. We are sorry for it because we would like to win 11 v 11."

Was the decision correct? "It's not our business, our business is to score and to play well and to be correct.

"I've not seen yet the situation, I can't say anything. It can happen because in the game at the Amex we finished the game with one player less. I know very well what it is like playing with a player less.

"Anyway I don't want to speak of the red card because I don't believe, I don't agree with that.

"We played with the right mentality, especially in the second half. We didn't concede counter-attacks. Sometimes you can lose if you are playing one player more. Football is strange, you can open the game when you think the game is closed.

"We are happy for [Simon] Adingra and [Kaoru] Mitoma. We missed them both a lot. We played without natural wingers. And so I am very happy when all my players are available."

  12. 'I did think it was a red card straight away'published at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT: Sheffield United 0-5 Brighton

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton goalscorer Danny Welbeck to BBC Match of the Day, on Mason Holgate's red card: "He's obviously won the ball but he's followed through.

"It was one of those challenges where I did think it was a red card straight away.

"The ref didn't award the red card from the off, but I think the correct decision got made in the end."

  13. Holgate red was correct decision - Wilderpublished at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT: Sheff Utd 0-5 Brighton

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder on Mason Holgate's red card: "Well, maybe as a player that played for quite a long time, you would think that's an OK challenge - a strong and competitive challenge.

"But I think we all have to admit, me included, the game has moved on.

"It was a mistimed tackle and the correct decision was made.

"Mason has to take the responsibility that his decision has hurt us and the gameplan goes out of the window after that.

"As Sheffield United, you have to get the gameplan spot on against Brighton - you have to get it spot on against Brighton if you're Manchester City, Liverpool or Spurs - because of what they can do against you in terms of opening you up.

"It's difficult when things like that - which, of course, was self inflicted - go against you."

  14. 'Not a red' for Blades captainpublished at 17:23 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    FT: Sheff Utd 0-5 Brighton

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United captain Anel Ahmedhodzic on Mason Holgate's dismissal: "The red card killed the game, killed our plan and killed everything we worked for.

"If you ask my opinion I don't think it is a red card. I don't want to say more.

"From what I saw on the pitch I don't think it was [a red card]. Maybe the replay seems harsher than it is.

"But from my view on the pitch I thought it was a fair tackle."

What a joke Casemiro should be off, if that was a Luton player you can bet it would have been a second yellow.
