You can see just what it means to Arsenal, the players, the fans. They have won this final and in my opinion deservedly so, and I'm glad it wasn't taken to penalties.

Credit has to go to the Arsenal back line and midfield. They were really astute, solid in midfield and kept Chelsea at bay. Even despite lacking that clinical edge for the majority of the game they found a way to get through it and win.

Victoria Pelova has been outstanding for Arsenal.

She has made two goal-saving blocks as well as being that cog in the middle. She has been outstanding.

All over at Molineux. Arsenal have won the first piece of silverware up for grabs this season thanks to that late goal from Stina Blackstenius.

Chelsea's quadruple hopes are over but they still have three trophies to chase.

Everyone's thoughts though, remain with Arsenal's Frida Maanum after collapsing in stoppage-time. The club say she is conscious and stable.

Hannah Hampton will be disappointed with that.

We have seen her save those chances before, it was a good height, she got down and got a hand to it but she couldn't keep the ball out.

    Redemption for Stina Blackstenius.

Hannah Hampton does her very best but Blackstenius bundles through players.

Not the cleanest of finishes but it will do. We said before the game that Blacksteinus could be key.

We said one goal was potentially going to win it and it looks like Arsenal might have got it!

It was a great finish from Stina Blackstenius in front of goal, they do so well in the build up play again. Cailtlin Foord slips the pass into Blackstenius, who puts it into the bottom corner.

    Stina Blackstenius (116 mins)

There's only minutes left and Stina Blackstenius may have just won it for Arsenal in dramatic fashion.

Caitlin Foord cuts inside from the left and lays it off to Blackstenius.

She bundles away from Erin Cuthbert and pokes it past Hannah Hampton, who couldn't get enough on it.

What a ball from Kyra Cooney-Cross. Caitlin Foord splits the defence and then sets it to Alessia Russo who doesn't really get enough on it to scare Hannah Hampton.

It's another pretty standard, easy save.

This extra time has gone by in a bit of a daze, especially given the events which preceeded it.

Steph Catley cleared the ball off her own ribcage then and all the Chelsea fans near her yelled for a penalty, Emma Hayes had both arms raised in appeal.

As much as I trust/love Emma Hayes, I’d have had James off and ABJ on ages ago.

Caitlin Foord has space to run into as Arsenal break down the left with numbers.

She drives it all the way, opting to go herself, before Kadeisha Buchanan makes an excellent block which carries it into Hannah Hampton's arms.

  20. 'Surprised Chelsea haven't rolled the dice a bit more'published at 17:35 British Summer Time 31 March

    Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea

    Fern Whelan
Former England and Brighton defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The only thing we haven't seen yet which is surprising is that Chelsea haven't rolled the dice more with the players they have available on the bench.

I thought we may have seen Aggie Beever-Jones or Fran Kirby, just to give the side that little bit of flair and creativity, especially when we're seeing players like Lauren James pull up and look a little tired now.
