    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the bet365 Stadium

No VAR today but we have just had a brief stoppage for referee Paul Tierney to have his communication system adjusted so he can liaise with his assistants and fourth official Ben Toner.

    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

Joao Pedro tries to squeeze into the box but Ki-Jana Hoever slides in to block his way.

The Stoke defender collides with a team-mate in the process but everyone's OK.

Lewis Dunk then heads it over from the resulting corner.

Two things from me on Gillingham.

One, Gillingham need to be more secure and not open to the counter-attack from Sheffield United.

Secondly, set pieces are going to be big for them and that will be a way to get themselves back into the game. They have to be better at them.

  4. Cambridge back in frontpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Blackburn 1-2 Cambridge

Blackburn are only level for three minutes!

Sully Kaikai puts Cambridge back ahead, volleying home from 14 yards after a cross from the left was headed back to him.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's Blackurn started strongly in the Championship but have slid down the table recently and currently sit 17th.

Cambridge are 18th in League One but haven't won in their past 11 away games.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

Not far away at all. It's created by Joao Pedro. He chips it past Ki-Jana Hoever to tee up Jakub Moder but he blasts it just over the bar.

The referee then needs a moment to sort out his mic. That's the second time today the officials have had tech issues.

    Norwich 1-1 Bristol Rovers

    Marc Webber
    Final Score at Carrow Road

The Bristol Rovers fans went straight over to their fans to the right of the goal when that Grant Ward goal went in.

Shock around the ground when it was scored, even Rovers fans couldn’t believe it…for a second.

  7. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    QPR 0-0 Bournemouth

Lovely stuff from Paul Smyth, who gets away from his man with a clever turn before being brought down by Luis Sinisterra in a dangerous area.

However, Andre Dozzell can do nothing with the free-kick, firing it well over the Bournemouth crossbar.

    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

I'd still expect Brighton to go on and win this game, they should have enough but that's part of the magic of the FA Cup.

  9. Szmodics equalises for Blackburnpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

Blackburn are equal at Ewood Park.

Sammie Szmodics, who is the leading goalscorer in the Championship with 16 goals, has pulled Jon Dahl Tomasson's level.

It was lovely free-flowing play from Rovers in the build-up and Szmodics tucks home from 10 yards out.

  10. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

Billy Gilmour's had a few lovely touches in midfield for Brighton. His work leads to a Brighton corner, won by Jakub Moder off Mehdi Léris.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    QPR 0-0 Bournemouth

Shortly after picking up a yellow card, Philip Billing nearly finds the back of the net.

He's played in by Luis Sinisterra and drills a low ball across QPR keeper Asmir Begovic, but it flies just wide of the far post.

An absolute goal fest in Coventry.

Also a tough watch for one of our BBC Sport reporters on the live text today...

  13. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Gillingham 0-1 Sheff Utd

Gillingham put the ball in the back of the net but the whistle had long gone for offside. It actually looked onside on a replay but no VAR here and everyone else had stopped anyway.

At the other end Andre Brooks shoots wide from 20 yards.

  14. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Stoke 1-0 Brighton

Oops. Mehdi Léris goes to take the throw-in but the ball slips out of his hand and it's a foul throw. Bit of a comedy moment.

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on Final Score

It's been a fascinating game. Brighton have dominated. How many times have we seen teams try to play out from the back and they get caught?

The game plan from Stoke is for them to sit deep and wait for mistakes.

  16. Jutkiewicz puts Birmingham aheadpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Hull 0-1 Birmingham

    Managerless Birmingham are ahead!

The Blues sacked Wayne Rooney earlier in the week but they are in front under caretaker boss Steve Spooner.

Lukas Jutkiewicz meets a cross from the right and powers home a beautiful header. Lovely stuff.

  18. Celebrations at Maidstonepublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

There are some own goals that are just unfortunate.

    That was definitely preventable.

If Jan Paul Van Hecke had been aware of what was round him, I think he would have felt he had more options available.

As it turned out, it was almost as if he got his feet stuck as he was deciding how to deal with Bae Junho's cross and made a complete mess of it.

  20. Cundle puts Argyle aheadpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Plymouth 1-0 Sutton

Sutton United goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis is really unlucky here.

He makes a superb save after some beautiful build-up play from Plymouth, but the ball falls to Luke Cundle, who is on loan from Wolves.

Bouzanis gets something on his strike but it just creeps in.
