He’s only had a few games but Petrovic surely has a shout for no.1? Sanchez always seems so unsure, and beaten at the near post far too often.

    Chelsea 0-0 Preston

    Another good chance for Chelsea.

Enzo Fernandez floats a ball over the top to Cole Palmer. His first touch is excellent and he waits for the goalkeeper to go to ground before trying to chip it.

It bounces inches wide in the end.

I have never seen anything like this at any level, anywhere.

Josh Windass’ goal two minutes in was a stunner from distance but Cameron Dawson is on the most unique of footballing hat-tricks.

Two penalty saves within the first ten minutes have him playing on a different plane of existence.

Do we want referee Thomas Kirk to award another spot kick, just to see if Dawson can deny Cardiff a third time?

Enzo Fernandez wins it back for Chelsea right on the edge of the Preston box and it's slipped through to Raheem Sterling.

Andrew Hughes gives it away and Alfie Gilchrist overlaps on the right. He pulls it back for Raheem Sterling and his shot is deflected into Freddie Woodman's arms. That was a good chance for Chelsea.

Will Keane then has a go from the edge of the box when Milutin Osmajic's flicks it on at the other end but it's straight at the keeper.

Delayed by Alex Bangura, he could not afford for the white shirts to get back.

If you are a Middlesbrough player and you get an opportunity you have to put the ball into a good area.

Preston will probably be the happier of the two teams. Their defensive shape has looked well and they have looked dangerous on the counter attack as well.

Decent ball in from Jordan Storey which isn't dealt with at first by Chelsea before Axel Disasi hooks it away.

Preston have looked bright. They are organised and a bit of a threat on the counter-attack through their full-backs.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Aston Villa

Middlesbrough are looking to exploit the Aston Villa high line down the flanks, with the diagonal ball to Alex Bangura on the left a popular option. They make that move work this time and Bangura gets into the box, but his touch is too heavy and he loses the ball before there's some half-hearted appeals for a penalty as he goes down.

Armando Broja drops in to collect Malo Gusto's pass in the middle and coolly lays it off to Alfie Gilchrist on the right.

It's a good opportunity for Broja tonight.

First real attempt on goal as Matty Cash comes charging in on the right side of the box to meet a cross but his first-time effort is blocked by the Middlesbrough defence.

Great team selection by Poch, bar Sterling. Madueke has been in-form, plus Sterling is another Grealish in running into players and going down too easily.

Good positive play from both of Preston's full-backs. If they can get at Chelsea youngster Gilchrist then that might pay off.

Liam Millar has a run at Alfie Gilchrist on the left and whips in a high and deep cross towards his opposite full-back Brad Potts.

Malo Gusto knows Potts is there and has to head it out for a throw-in.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Aston Villa

This is the first FA Cup meeting between Middlesbrough and Aston Villa since January 1957, when Villa won 3-2 en route to winning the trophy for the seventh and most recent time.

When facing a Premier League side in the third round of the FA Cup, Middlesbrough haven’t progressed since a 1-0 win at Bradford City in 2000-01. They’ve gone out of five such ties since then, including a 5-1 home loss to Brighton last season.

I'm just chucking stats out at the moment because there's nothing really happening in the game if I am being honest with you.

Liam Millar has been kept busy so far in that left-back position for Preston.

Raheem Sterling is getting into good positions and calling for the ball.

The atmosphere is still really lively in London.
