Inverness Caley Thistle manager Duncan Ferguson tells BBC Scotland: "I thought the first half we were the better team.
"We could have maybe gone one up. In the second half we didn't do as well, Dundee United pushed the play without really creating anything.
"I think everybody saw in the stadium the big moment but the referee never made the decision."

Here's the moment Tony Watt secured all three points for United.

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "I think there will be people writing into the BBC looking for their licence fee back after that performance.
"It was a really poor game of football. I am not making excuses but we had a game plan, we have a lot of players struggling with knocks. I think we are very lucky to have won the game.
"I am not going to stand here and say we deserved it but throughout the course of the league campaign you are going to get games like that.
"It was not pretty but sometimes the result is worth more than the performance and I think tonight was one of those.
"Tonight was a really poor performance in terms of what we expect. I have got to give great credit to my back lads. They took the criticism and responded really well tonight. Defensively the guys deserve the pat on the back.
"It is a huge three points, I do not think it is a game that will be remembered by too many people but it puts up back at the top of the table."
On the handball claim right at the end, Goodwin added: "We were denied a stonewall penalty last weekend but tonight we probably got away with one."

Dundee United striker Tony Watt tells BBC Scotland: "It felt good putting the ball in the back of the net.
"It is a relief but the manager's message all week was that we don't care how we do it, we just win.
"I think Inverness dominated the first half in terms of possession but they didn't really hurt us.
"The manager has been so positive all week, our squad has been depleted so thank goodness the break is coming up.
"I don't really tend to score those [tap ins], I don't get into the box enough and I have been getting stick for that all season.
"The reaction after getting beaten by Morton is exactly what we needed."
It's all over.
Inverness will understandably feel hard done by with that result and they're still furious about that handball shout in injury time.
Jim Goodwin's side will be relieved to get the three points and keep their title hopes alive. They go top of the Championship table tonight.
