    Paris FC 0-1 Chelsea

This is a really good spell from the hosts. Mathile Bourdieu turns a defender superbly inside the area but her shot is well charged down. Chelsea are soaking up the pressure really well.

Tonight is the start of games in four competitions in 13 days for Chelsea. Emma Hayes is planning on moving to the States with an abundance of silverware in her luggage.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 21 mins

    Paris FC 0-1 Chelsea

Paris are attacking hard. That's a good stop from Zecira Musovic, getting down low to claw out a shot from a tight angle by Mathilde Bourdieu.

Well struck again! Gaetane Thiney is doing her level best to drag Paris level, smashing a shot over from about 20 yards out this time. That was considerably closer.

  5. CLOSE!published at 18 mins

    Paris FC 0-1 Chelsea

Great effort! A slack pass in midfield falls for Paris skipper Gaetane Thiney, just outside the centre circle and she has no hesitation in taking on the shot with Chelsea keeper Zecira Musovic way off her line.

The lob looks good - but drifts wide, well wide in the end.

    Must be! No!

Great play again, down the right this time, sees Fran Kirby played into the area. She cuts it back to Aggie Beever-Jones but a defender somehow gets across to make a wonderful intervention.

The flag was up as well, as it goes. But more brilliant football out wide from the WSL side.

    Paris FC 0-1 Chelsea

Aggie Beever-Jones is next to get in behind the Paris high line but she can't find a pass inside. Paris need to win, remember, so it could really open up.

    Paris FC 0-1 Chelsea

It was really slack at the back from the hosts but Chelsea's build-up play was superb in midfield there. A fine start for Emma Hayes' side.

Goalll! Chelsea's first real attack brings the opening goal and that's disastrous for Paris.

Lovely play down the left between Eve Perisset and Sjoeke Nusken ends with Jelena Cankovic in behind the defence. She clips a fine ball to the back stick and Fran Kirby, all alone, heads into the net.

    Paris FC 0-0 Chelsea

Ahh, chance there as Fran Kirby rode a tackle on the right but then couldn't send Aggie Beever-Jones free over the top. Her pass was too weak.

Much better from Chelsea as they enjoy their first spell of proper possession. Paris keeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is then closed down by Mia Fishel and looks in peril momentarliy but recovers to find touch on the far side.

  12. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Paris FC 0-0 Chelsea

Scruffy from Ashley Lawrence, making a mess of a clearance at the far post and Chelsea look stretched but an offside flag bails them out. Chelsea have started like a team who have made so many changes.

  13. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Paris FC 0-0 Chelsea

Emma Hayes is right out on the edge of her technical area in the opening moments as the hosts look to threaten down the middle. Maren Mjelde has it covered though and heads back to Zecira Musovic neatly.
