    Laia Aleixandri's goal sealed Manchester City's spot in the quarter-finals as they dumped Arsenal out of the Women's FA Cup in today's early game.

    Elsewhere, British record signing Mayra Ramirez scored her first goal for Chelsea as they beat second-tier Crystal Palace 1-0.

    Brighton's Emma Kullberg scored a late hat-trick to secure a 4-1 victory for her side against third-tier Wolves.

    Rachel Williams scored twice after coming off the bench as Manchester United avoided an upset and beat Championship side Southampton 3-1.

    Liverpool were comfortable 2-0 victors away to London City Lionesses, with Sophie Roman Haug and Melissa Lawley scoring for the Reds.

    On Saturday, Leicester thrashed Birmingham and Tottenham edged past Charlton.
