    FT: Wolves 1-4 Brighton

Emma Kullberg had never scored for Brighton before today's game. Now she's got three goals to her name.

The victory will be a huge relief for new interim boss Mikey Harris, who has had a tough week since coming in to replace the sacked Melissa Phillips.

Brighton lost to Manchester United in the WSL last weekend before being knocked out of the Continental Cup by Aston Villa mid-week. They were made to work against Wolves, but it's paid off with a place FA Cup quarter-finals.

  8. 'We were on the wrong side of every margin today'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    FT: Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall tells BBC Sport: "We had a strong team performance today. There is a lot of things we can be proud of. We would have liked to created more opportunities early on as well. It was a very tight game. It comes down to the margins, they’re dear. On that corner, is the ball over the line? Is it not over the line? That’s how fine the margins are. We’re gutted because we were on the wrong side of every margin today. It’s a tough one to take.

"We’re really disappointed. We have a really important game on Wednesday as well in the Conti Cup. We can’t let it affect that. We have to keep our heads high, go onwards and upwards and we need to keep our focus and energy in the right place."

On whether Arsenal need to throw everything at trying to win the League Cup now: "In every competition we take part in we want to do our very best. We have two really important competitions to be left in here now and we need to manage both very well."

    FT: Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Gareth Taylor, speaking to BBC Sport: "It is a huge win and a huge performance from the girls.

"I thought some of the things I have talked about how resolute we are at the back that works starts at the front, led by Alex Greenwood and Laia Aleixandri at the back - the defence was superb.

"Keating when she had to make saves is a bit of a redemption from when she got a lot of stick when she came here last year.

"For a young player to go through that and come through with a clean sheet is the reason why we love the game."

On hunger within the City camp: "10 wins consecutively - I'll just make that point.

"Any slight slip up in a cup competition you are done.

"WSL is like a cup competition where you have to be flawless, we have positioned ourselves really well.

"We look forward to the draw in the FA Cup it is a magical competition, the girls gave everything and I am so proud of them."

On Bunny Shaw: "Bunny has been nursing a calf problem for a couple of weeks, but she is fine and she wanted to be out there.

"The players are stepping into the circumstances and situations and dealing with them really well."

There's going to be five minutes added on down at the south coast.

    FT: Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Manchester City

We showed a different side to our game this season that maybe we haven’t done before. We keep a clean sheet and it’s something we pride ourselves on.

"We’re a different outfit now. We look strong from set pieces, we look strong from defending set pieces and the group is really confident. It’s a massive win and we move onto the next one."

On what's changed this season: "It's consistency within the team, relationships within the group. We train for that in the week and we’ve got partnerships now that we’ve played with all season."

On belief going into Friday's WSL game at Chelsea: "You’ve got to go there with belief. If you turn up thinking you’ve already lost the game I think you have. We’re so strong mentally and go into every game thinking we can win. Why not?

"We’re in a great position in the league and we want to win the league. In the past we’ve said we’ll see how it goes. I’m not afraid to say it anymore. I want to go there next week and beat Chelsea."

On it being one of the biggest goals in her career: "Probably yes. It is my second goal and I am very happy."
