Larne have come out the better at the end of the first half. In terms of possession it has been fairly even but Larne got that crucial goal after Glentoran were threatening to dominate. The Glens need more creativity in midfield.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2024

    Glentoran 0-1 Larne

The whistle blows and, at the break, Cian Bolger's goal separates the sides.

It's been a half of few chances with Glentoran's best opportunity to grab a goal coming on the 29th minute when David Fisher's string from range was inches wide of the right hand post.

As for Tiernan Lynch's men, two deflections from Patrick McClean denied them an earlier goal.

Can Glentoran respond in the second half or will Larne make their lead more comfortable?
