Can be a tricky business managing a return from injury. Just ask Roy Hodgson.

  3. 'Williamson change likely a case of managing minutes'published at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Chelsea and England defender on BBC Two

You would like to think that the change at half time, Leah Williamson being replaced by Amanda Ilestedt, is just about managing minutes.

She didn't seem to pull up or anything towards the end of the first half, which is a good sign. The side are still in a lot of competitions, many games still to play this season, so it is likely a case of managing her minutes as she comes back from what was a long-term injury.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

Let's hope that that change was pre-planned. We are back up and running!

    Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

Brighton are well and truly on the back foot.

    They haven't had a shot since the 42nd minute - we're in the 75th.

  6. SUBSTITUTION - Williamson OFFpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

Let's hope this is not a setback. Leah Williamson is coming off at the break of her first start for 10 months.

    On comes Amanda Ilestedt.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:35 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

Maisie Symonds and Li Mengwen come on for Brighton.

Poppy Pattinson and Vicky Losada go off.

Guro Bersvand takes the captain's armband.

Still a real lack of clear-cut opportunities here.

A Chloe Kelly cross nearly falls to Khadija Shaw but it goes too far in front of her.

It's very windy and very cold.

    Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

It is very windy at Leigh Sports Village - corner flag at a 45 degree angle level windy.

Most of the game is being played on the deck and it's clear why. Long balls just won't work.

    Ooooh.

A Hannah Blundell cross nearly finds Leah Galton, but she pulls away and can't meet it in time.

It looks like she didn't want to stretch her leg too much - perhaps her clutching her calf earlier was a warning sign.

Here's how Alessia Russo opened the scoring for the Arsenal. Textbook far-post header.

  13. Postpublished at 13:29 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    Man City 0-0 Leicester

Not anymore... Manchester City have their first shot on target.

Filippa Angeldahl picks up the ball on the edge of the area and unleashes a left-footed effort, but she doesn't get any curl on it and it's caught by Lize Kop.

  14. 'Arsenal have yet to work out the West Ham high line'published at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    HT: West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on BBC Two

West Ham have been disciplined and compact, but they have also been playing a high line and I think the frustration is that Arsenal have yet to work that out. They have hardly made runs from deep and have struggled to get in behind them.

In the end it took 42 minutes for them to break the deadlock and the goal came from a set piece.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

We're up to more bookings than shots.

Saori Takarda goes into the book after fouling Kerstin Casparij.

GOAL - Manchester United 2-0 Brightonpublished at 13:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    Nikita Parris (64 mins)

    Another one!

It's that same connection again. Geyse drifts on the right-hand side, beating Veatriki Sarri with some neat footwork.

She cuts the ball back to Nikita Parris, who fires in her second of the afternoon - she scored two last weekend too.

Eight goals in the Women's Super League this season for Parris now.

  17. 'Disappointing to concede a set piece after all the hard work'published at 13:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    HT: West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on BBC Two

The Arsenal goal coming just before half time will be so disappointing for Rehanne Skinner, it just changes the team talk.

The one thing you can control, the moment in a game you can give everyone roles, make sure they know what they are doing, is set pieces, and they have conceded. After all the hard work that will be disappointing.

I think the conditions have played into their hands, the pitch has been slower which has allowed them to cover the gaps and keep Arsenal at a distance. But I think the West Ham manager will be quite happy with what she has seen so far.

    Someone has had a shot!

Jutta Rantala meets a Nicoline Momiki Ball and sends an effort towards Khiara Keating's goal, but Rantala blasts wide of the target.
