In Friday's solitary Championship fixture, Sheffield Wednesday brushed past fellow strugglers Birmingham City at Hillsborough.

Ike Ugbo, a January loan signing from French side Troyes, scored in either half to give the Owls their first win in seven games.

That victory lifted them to within five points of safety - no mean feat considering Wednesday's poor start to the season.

From the bottom of the table on Friday evening to the top of the Championship pile to get things going on Saturday.

Sheffield Wednesday boosted their survival hopes as they beat fellow strugglers Birmingham under the lights at Hillsborough last night.

Ipswich take on West Brom to kick-off today's Championship smorgasbord.

The out-of-form hosts might be one place and 11 points better off than the Baggies, but they've lost serious ground in the race for automatic promotion of late.

Can they get back on track or will Carlos Corberan's side keep up their play-off push?

    Kick-off is on its way.
