    Salford City 0-0 Colchester United

Colchester's Cameron McGeehan tests Alex Cairns again, curling in a shot which the goalkeeper is equal to.

The away side are without a victory in four matches, last winning on 27 January. With second-placed Stockport Country visiting them on Saturday, three points tonight would offer a welcome confidence boost.

This is going to be a midfield battle. For me, Panutche Camará has way too much space. It's a problem Paul Warne is going to have to solve quickly.

Notts County have drawn level against bottom side Sutton United for the second time tonight, courtesy of Daniel Crowley's looping header.

In-form Newport have a two-goal lead at Harrogate through a penalty kick from Will Evans and a neat finish from Offrande Zanzala.

Graham Coughlan's team started the evening in 16th place in the table, but as it stands, they have moved up six spots and are just two points off the play-off places.

Elsewhere, it is 1-1 between Swindon and Tranmere, with Rob Apter scoring for the visitors just two minutes after Sean McGurk had given the hosts the lead.

  4. KICK-OFF at DW Stadiumpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Wigan 0-0 Bolton

Half an hour later than advertised, but the action's finally under way in this League One derby between Wigan and Bolton.

Wanderers are looking to better Derby's result tonight and edge into second place, but their recent record against the Latics is nothing to write home about. No wins in their last six meetings and that includes a 4-0 home defeat by Shaun Maloney's side earlier this season.

  5. League One latestpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

The teams at the bottom of the table in both League One and League Two are now both leading.

Sam Lavelle's glancing header has given Carlisle United the advantage at Burton.

In the delayed kick-off, play-off chasing Stevenage are currently only out of the all-important top six positions in League One on goals scored.

They have come close to finding the net at home to Cambridge, with Jamie Reid forcing a smart reaction save when through on goal.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Walsall 0-0 Accrington Stanley

Now it's Accrington's turn to have a chance, Jack Nolan setting up fellow winger Korede Adedoyin.

The former Everton prospect can't find the target with his effort.

    Derby 0-0 Charlton

History definitely favours the home side here... Charlton won on their first visit to Pride Park, in 1999, but that was the last time they returned to south London with all three points.

So far, Nathan Jones' men have come to stifle Derby and they've done it effectively, although Korey Smith has just dragged a chance wide of the post.

  8. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Forest Green Rovers 1-0 Wrexham

Chances at both ends at The New Lawn.

James McClean has a crack at goal but is foiled by a brave intervention from fellow veteran Richard Keogh.

Then Wrexham's Arsenal loanee, Arthur Okonkwo, has to be at his best to keep Christian Doidge's header out.

Forest Green would love a second.

  9. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 1-0 Fleetwoodpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    (Jensen Weir 18 mins)

Port Vale haven't been flush with goals lately, but they've scored a crucial one now!

Fleetwood concede possession just inside their own half and the home side quickly capitalise, with Baylee Dipepa crossing from the right and Jensen Weir tucks it first time into the bottom corner.

A first goal in Vale colours for the on-loan Brighton player...

  10. League Two latestpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    More drama at Meadow Lane.

Macaulay Langstaff put Notts County level at home to League Two's bottom side Sutton United with a penalty kick a moment ago.

But the visitors have roared back and are now 2-1 up, with Harry Smith latching on to a loose pass and slotting home.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Walsall 0-0 Accrington Stanley

In-form Walsall have been in the goals recently.

They've threatened another at home to Accrington Stanley, Liam Gordon and Taylor Allen sending them the length of the pitch at speed to contribute to a chance which Jamille Matt volleys over the crossbar.

Will they finish tonight in the play-off spots?

  12. 'Charlton have forgotten how to win'published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Derby 0-0 Charlton

    Darren Robinson
Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby

After 18 games without a win, I'd argue Charlton have forgotten how to do it. But goals change the psychology of a match.

The Rams have got to set the tone and tempo while showing discipline at the back.

Shrewsbury Town have not won a Tuesday night game since August and they are not off to the best start this evening.

Lincoln City's Teddy Bishop has scored from close range to put the hosts 1-0 in front.

The home side came into tonight with a nine-point gap between themselves and the play-off places, so three points would be a welcome boost.

  14. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Forest Green Rovers 1-0 Wrexham

    Forest Green scoreImage source, Shutterstock

Fun fact: Forest Green are winless in their last 15 matches when facing a side for the first time in the EFL, as they are tonight.

They've lost 10 of those games. Could tonight be the night when they change the record? There's a long way to go...

  15. Gayle makes first Rams startpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Derby 0-0 Charlton

Derby are looking to close the gap on League One leaders Portsmouth tonight, but so far they've been frustrated by Charlton at Pride Park.

The experienced Dwight Gayle is leading the line for the Rams, making his first start since joining the club, and they'll be hoping he can make an immediate impact tonight.

  16. League Two latestpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    #bbcefl

The Football League's bottom side Sutton United have taken a surprise lead at Notts County.

Ryan Jackson has tapped the ball in to give Steve Morison's team an early advantage in League Two.

They have won just one of their last 22 away league games.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Salford City 0-0 Colchester United

Colchester go closest first at Salford as Alex Cairns turns Cameron McGeehan's effort behind!

U's manager Danny Cowley said how much he was looking forward to putting points on the board this week, and his players seem in the mood to oblige.

    Just what they needed.

Steve Cotterill would have ensured that Forest Green are prepared and ready for battle today.

To have that clarity so early in the game... Osadebe - he's been a revelation since he's came in. He really deserved that.

  19. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Port Vale 0-0 Fleetwood

Vale find themselves in the unusual position of being favourites this evening and they've started brightly against Fleetwood.

Jensen Weir's effort was deflected behind, with Ben Garrity heading over from the corner.

  20. goal

GOAL - Forest Green 1-0 Wrexhampublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Emmanuel Osadebe (3 mins)

What a start for Forest Green as the hosts' resurgence continues!

The second-bottom side in League Two score with their first attack of the game, Christian Doidge slipping in Emmanuel Osadebe beyond the Wrexham defence.

The Irish midfielder still has plenty to do but curls in beautifully from outside the penalty area!

An early blow for the fourth-placed visitors' hopes of entering the automatic promotion places tonight. Steve Cotterill's side are on course to make it three wins in four games.
