Cambridge's League One game with Bolton has been abandoned after only nine minutes of play because of a waterlogged pitch.

Play was stopped while still 0-0, with referee David Rock taking the players off the pitch after consulting both head coaches.

After a delay of 16 minutes it was announced at 8.10pm that the decision had been taken for the game to be called off.

The only opening in the nine minutes that were played came for Cambridge, but Sullay Kaikai failed to connect with a volley when the ball fell to him centrally.

The U's will hope conditions at the Abbey Stadium improve in time for them to host Cheltenham on Saturday.

It's not been great at St Mary's. Watford's Ismael Kone hit the crossbar with a deflected effort in a half of few clear-cut chances.

The best game of the night in the FA Cup is taking place at Coventry. The Sky Blues went ahead in the third minute through Kasey Palmer, only for Bailey Cadamarteri to equalise seven minutes later.

There's not been too many stoppages in this one and as a result the whistle goes for half-time right on 45 mins.

Will Smallbone looks to have a chance to cross into the danger zone for Southampton from Tyler Dibling's ball forwards, but Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann is off his line quickly to smother the danger.

Plymouth are doing a really good job of nullifying the threat of Wilfried Gnonto, putting three players on him quickly whenever he has the ball.

I think Sorinola makes the right decision. The tackle was coming. I'm not sure that Whittaker was going to get there.

A few chances for Coventry, but Callum O'Hare has fired just wide, Josh Eccles has had a shot saved and Haji Wright was denied by excellent defending by Akin Famewo.

Another really good chance for Plymouth. They are causing Leeds problems down the right and another good ball in is half cleared to Matthew Sorinola, whose shot is deflected over.
