FT: FC Copenhagen 1-3 Man City

The only negative for Pep Guardiola was the injury to Jack Grealish which forced the England player off. Grealish joined his team-mates on the pitch after the final whistle as they showed their appreciation to City's travelling fans. City will hope it is not a serious injury.

A mixed night for Brahim Diaz.

He scored a stunner and did the Jude Bellingham celebration for a goal which means Real Madrid head to the Bernabeu with a 1-0 lead, but he then went off injured with what looked like a serious calf injury.

I wasn't sure what to expect tonight with Copenhagen not playing for 63 days but credit to them, they stayed in the game. Manchester City had to be patient and it took until the 93rd minute to get that third goal.

Copenhagen have been on the ropes for the last minute or so. Phil Foden gives the goalkeeper the eyes and it's a really smart finish.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Real Madrid

All over in Germany. Real Madrid will be pleased. RB Leipzig miss a big opportunity to put their noses in front in the tie.

It was a truly brilliant individual goal from Brahim Diaz that was the difference.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Real Madrid

I don't know what's more shocking, the fact Dani Carvajal has not been sent off for persistent fouling, or that RB Leipzig haven't scored from any of their chances.

    Phil Foden

    The icing on the cake!

Just wonderful from Phil Foden who is involved in the build-up before finishing calmly.

He has to be on that plane to Euro 2024.

Pep Guardiola is so animated on the touchline. He's asking the Copenhagen manager why they are so physical.

    FC Copenhagen 1-2 Man City

Pep Guardiola would have liked a more handsome win so he could rest some players for the second leg which takes place between the Manchester derby and Liverpool away.

As it stands, Copenhagen remain in the tie.

  13. Postpublished at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

Kevin de Bruyne, who already has a goal and an assist, looks to seal victory from a free-kick but he hits it low and hard straight at the keeper.

    Only five minutes to go.

Benjamin Sesko tries an audacious overhead volley but he ends up kicking Aurélien Tchouameni.

Sesko has had six shots, four on target. That's more shots on target than the entire Real Madrid team combined (3).

Another big save. Andriy Lunin tips over Amadou Haidara's dipping volley.

Into the final 10 minutes in Denmark's capital.

City should be home and dry but Copenhagen have done well to stay in this.
