Copenhagen look lethargic and that they aren't on their game. If they carry on like this Manchester City will punish them.

Benjamin Sesko is causing all kinds of problems. He's played in again but it's straight at goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

He could have got two or three goals already!

There's an alarm going off inside the stadium. Alarm bells too in the Copenhagen defence.

Toni Kroos whips in a corner for Real and it's met by the head of Aurélien Tchouameni. It might have been going just wide but it's cleared off the line anyway.

Eduardo Camavinga catches the rebound but there's not enough power on it.

That is two big chances for Manchester City already and we aren't even 10 minutes into the game.

Another huge chance for the holders.

This time Ruben Dias' header is clawed away by keeper Kamil Grabara after a fine delivery from Bernardo Silva.

It's one-way traffic.

Rodrygo has Real's first shot but it's deflected up and comfortably into the arms of goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi.

Aurelien Tchouameni is being tested early on at the back for Real. He guides another throughball out for a goalkick under pressure.

This already looks like it could be a long night for Copenhagen.

They've barely ventured outside their own half. City, who should be ahead, are bossing possession.

Nathan Ake puts in a delightful ball and Kevin de Bruyne should score for Man City.

City should be ahead!

Kevin de Bruyne is totally unmarked when he rises to meet Nathan Ake's cross into the box but he gets it all wrong.

It drops wide. De Bruyne would have scored that with his eyes closed last season.

Thirty seconds later, Benjamin Sesko is played in and he should score! He doesn't get decent contact on the strike from close range and Andriy Lunin gobbles it up.

What a start by RB Leipzig!

Interesting. From the corner, Andriy Lunin's punch is unconvincing and it's dinked straight back over to Benjamin Sesko.

He heads it into an open net but it's chalked off for Benjamin Henrichs being offside and seemingly impeding the goalkeeper.

The home fans were inside the ground a couple of hours before kick-off. There are loud whistles as Manchester City enjoy all the early possession before a huge cheer after an over-cooked pass.

Dani Carvajal sends a terrible pass back to Ferland Mendy and he can't prevent it going out for a corner.

Not a great start by the 14-time champions.

It's Copenhagen who get the tie under way.
