Evanilson stayed down in the Arsenal box after a Porto attack and the referee stopped the game. The fans didn't think he was injured. He has had treatment and is now back on the pitch.

    Barcelona 2-1 Napoli (Agg: 3-2)

Napoli have made a good start to a second half in which they need to score.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia tries his luck from 25 yards out and Marc-Andre ter Stegen is panicking, only for the ball to whip just past the post.

I can't see Porto changing their style, they are so stubborn and I can see them playing for penalties.

Arsenal need to enjoy themselves, they did that in snippets in the first half, but I want to see it even more. I want to see Declan Rice get on the ball more, control the midfied.

It doesn't really matter how you play in this competition so long as you win.

Quick start to the half from Porto. Galeno whips it into Evanilson after a dangerous move down the left.

Nothing comes of it in the end but Arsenal's defence were called straight into action.

Born and bred an Arsenal fan but wife and her friends are all massive Porto fans, lots of nerves at home tonight!

It has all been about Porto and how they are making the game. They are trying to impose their style on it and have done it even more so than last time.

Arsenal haven't been their usual high-tempo selves, the speed of passing hasn't quite been there and they haven't moved the ball quickly.

In terms of stamping their authority on the game, I think Porto have edged it.

I think they are just going to try and grind this game out, maybe nick or force something at the other end. They want to make sure it gets to a point where the game is attritional and they win somehow.

    A big signing.

Leandro Trossard has five goals in 11 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions in 2024.

He netted seven goals in 45 appearances for them in 2023.

Trossard is also the first Arsenal player to score a goal in the Champions League knockout stages since Theo Walcott in 2017.

I think Mikel Arteta will be happy with his Arsenal side at the break, I really do.

Porto have been so stubborn and regimented, have done so well doing what they always do, the goal aside.

It is a good time to regroup, reflect and get new messages across. It is going to be a completely second half I'm sure of that.

  12. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

    Barcelona 2-1 Napoli (Agg: 3-2)

Napoli's Victor Osimhen has been caught offside three times tonight and 10 times in the Champions League this season, only Paris St-Germain's Kylian Mbappe (13) has been offside more times.

  13. 'It has gone to plan for Arsenal so far'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

HT: Arsenal 1-0 Porto (agg: 1-1)

    Theo Walcott
Former Arsenal and Southampton forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal have to be very pleased with how this has panned out.

Before Troassard's goal I thought he was struggling a bit out of the two wingers, but that goal alone will breed more confidence.

Second half they will start pushing on a bit more, and really go for the winner. It has gone to plan so far I think.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

    Barcelona 2-1 Napoli (Agg: 3-2)

A hugely enjoyable first 45 minutes. Two goals in three minutes, from Fermin Lopez and Joao Cancelo, for Barcelona looked to have finished off the tie, but Napoli have responded superbly.

Amir Rrahmani got a goal back and the Italians have been the better side ever since. Barcelona have the advantage, but one Napoli goal would be enough to force extra time.

Arsenal have the goal they were searching for. And what a goal it was. It's 1-1 in the tie so all to play for.

Arsenal fans and players are complaining that only one minute was added on, but I think now is a good time to pause.

They've got themselves back in it and they will need to have a shift about how they approach it and Mikel Arteta will want to chat to his players.

    Arsenal 1-0 Porto (agg: 1-1)

Otavio and Declan Rice have a coming together off the ball after penalty appeals from Porto.

Rice is unhappy because it was two of their players coming together and his Arsenal team-mates help pull him away.

Rice is on a booking and another one here tonight would rule him out of a potential quarter-final leg.
