    Bristol City 0-0 Swansea

It's a landmark game this afternoon for the experienced Jamie Paterson, who brings up a century of appearances in a Swansea shirt.

Fittingly, Paterson's 100th comes on the ground where he spent five years and scored 23 league goals in 145 games for the Robins.

It's probably fair to say the more cynical among the home crowd will be fully expecting him to mark the occasion with a goal...

Ronald has just had a high five from his manager Luke Williams after putting that corner straight out.

    Ronaldo/Ronald what are you doing?!

You will be able to find that on social media later I'm sure.

That should be on multiple blooper channels shortly!

If Huddersfield can hold onto the three points they'll move up to 19th and send Birmingham into the drop zone.

Far from a classic so far, as the rain continues to pour, with fog filling the sky.

Just the one attempt on target, but it’s significant, as it currently has Town moving two points clear of the drop.

Delano Burgzorg's outrageously pink books, netting his seventh goal of the season.

West Brom yet to win a game this season when conceding first.

    Bristol City 0-0 Swansea

Perhaps news of that Huddersfield goal might galvanise these two sides, both of whom are in that pack whose cushion over the bottom three is a bit thinner than they might like.

Not much sign of urgency so far in this stalemate, however, with Swansea probably edging proceedings in the first 20 minutes.

    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

Huddersfield Giants are the rugby league team here, looks like Town have borrowed a couple of their players!

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the Albion dressing room at half-time, it would be interesting to hear what the manager has to say after this sloppy display in the rain and fog of Yorkshire.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

So far, so good for struggling Huddersfield Town in the West Yorkshire rain.

There's been one shot on target in the whole match so far and Delano Burgzorg made the most of it.

The Dutchman's low left-footed shot maybe should have been dealt with by Alex Palmer in the Albion goal and the Baggies, who are yet to have a shot of ANY sort, have looked very ragged at the back in general.

Town moving two points clear of the bottom three as it stands.

Surely fifth-placed West Brom will improve in the second half.

  8. Postpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Huddersfield are all-action at the moment.

They win a couple of corners in fairly quick succession, including one that Sorba Thomas whips past everyone and out of play.

We're into one minute of time added on at the end of the half.

Huddersfield Town shutting down the midfield options for West Brom, led by Jonathan Hogg as ever.

  10. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Bristol City 0-0 Swansea

A fairly low-key opening 10 minutes at Ashton Gate, with Bristol City looking to avoid extending their losing streak to five games.

It's the visitors who have had the first scoring opportunity, with Brazilian wide man Ronald putting his effort wide of the target.

  11. Postpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Five minutes until half-time in West Yorkshire and fifth-placed West Brom have not had a shot of any sort in this match so far.

They win a corner but the Town defence deal with it.

Nick: How very dare players celebrate scoring at home. Refs are getting worse. No ref deserves abuse but at what point do they become adults and admit that they don't help themselves when making stupid decisions like giving a player celebrating a goal a card. Especially when professional fouls have been made... so go in with a violent challenge and you will give away a free-kick. Tug someone through down to stop a goal and give a free-kick. Celebrate? That’s a yellow. It’s all about consistency, isn't it?

Anon: Re: bookings for celebration. Stop the nonsense of booking players for taking shirts off. But jumping on barriers and into fans is dangerous. Think about stewards having to deal with this. Stay on the pitch!

  13. Palmer not looked comfortable in Baggies goalpublished at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

    Tom Gayle
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at the John Smith's Stadium

West Brom keeper Alex Palmer hasn't looked at all comfortable.

A couple of his times head coach Carlos Corberan has advised him to calm down.

For me, he has to do better with Burgzorg's goal.

  14. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

That goal has really got Town going and they're pushing for a second now.

West Brom gaffer Carlos Corberan is cutting a very frustrated figure on the touchline.

His side are really asking for trouble with some of their passing in their own defensive third.

  15. No 'sting' yet at Ashton Gatepublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Bristol City 0-0 Swansea

    Ed Hadwin

I say take the sting out of the game, but there has not been any sting in the game so far.

Pretty poor first five minutes all round.

  16. Christmas at the John Smith's?published at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

For the second time this season Delano Burgzorg opens the scoring against West Brom with a wonderfully crisp shot from inside the penalty area.

That is just the tonic that Town needed.

    Former Huddersfield goalkeeper Matt Glennon:

Silly booking, but come on ref that is harsh, don't be like the Grinch at Christmas, he is allowed to celebrate!

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:34 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Hmmm.

Town scorer Delano Burgzorg is booked for jumping over into the fans during his celebrations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

    The Terriers lead!

There had been next to nothing in this match but the home side have forced the issue on the half-hour mark.

Tom Lees wins the ball back in the centre circle and slips a pass into Delano Burgzorg.

The Dutchman twists this way and that and then hits a low shot past Alex Palmer in the Albion goal from 15 yards.

Not sure the Baggies keeper will want to see that back mind.

West Brom manager Carlos CorberanImage source, Rex Features

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan had two seasons in charge of Town between 2020 and 2022.

The Spaniard took the Terriers to the Championship play-off final in May 2022 but opted to walk away after defeat by Nottingham Forest at Wembley.

He took over at West Brom in October 2022 but this is his first return to West Yorkshire.

Remarkably, Andre Breitenreiter is Town's FIFTH manager since Corberan left.

On the pitch, it's all VERY scrappy at present.

  20. Postpublished at 12:25 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March

    Huddersfield 0-0 West Brom

Darnell Furlong's long throws are a real weapon for West Brom.

The full-back hurls one into the Town area but the home defence stand up to it.
