The next step for Sarina Wiegman is whether she can evolve this England team.

The only criticism of her time as the Netherlands coach was that she was not able to evolve that team to go again. Can she do that with this England side?

She has the opportunity to look at many young players coming through, the U23s are also on the camp so it is a chance to have a look at them too and plan for what is to come.

Alessia Russo is free on the left-hand side after England capitalise on a loose ball in the middle of the park, but the offside flag is up as the Lionesses forward looks to run towards goal.

That might be a let-off for Manuela Zinsberger after another early error.

Well, that was quick! Alessia Russo kickstarted the move with a lovely pass out wide to Beth Mead and she reacted quickest to poke in the rebound.

Arsenal's Manuela Zinsberger will be disappointed with how she handled Beth Mead's initial shot.

England have started well on top here.

Good start by England, but from an Austria point of view this should not be a chance at all.

Manuela Zinsberger has to do better. Alessia Russo capitalised and was the first to react for England.

They attack from the off with Alessia Russo charging down the right-hand side, but the Austria defence keep to their shape and manage to close down the space.
