Brilliant centre-forward play from Rachel Daly. She's a clinical goalscorer and if you give her that opportunity she'll put it in the net.

But she has to know where the ball is going to break, the goalkeeper is left in no man's land by the back pass.

    Rachel Daly (79 mins)

    England have scored again!

Italy will not want to see that again. A back-pass is sent towards Laura Guiliani, but it lacks any of the required power and it's easy for Rachel Daly to take advantage.

She takes a touch, knocks it past the keeper, cuts inside, and scores her side's fifth.

    England 4-1 Italy

Ella Toone has the ball in the middle, she tries to find Jess Park, but an Italy player is out quickly enough to stop it getting to her feet.

That's a tale of how the second half has gone.

If you thought that goal for England might breathe some more life into this game, you've thought wrong.

It's comfortable for the Lionesses, but they've lacked their early form in the final third.

    England 4-1 Italy

Italy have been much better in the second half, pressing high and making it difficult for England to play out.

There is definitely more intensity to their attack and they're using the space a lot more effectively.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 73 mins

    England 4-1 Italy

It's taken a while, but the first booking of the match has been handed out.

Arianna Caruso is penalised for fouling Rachel Daly.

Cambiaghi has had some chances, England have given Italy some chances but they've not been ruthless enough with their finishing.

You're not going to get many better chances than that and you have to at least make Mary Earps make a save.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    England 4-1 Italy

England make a change, with Rachel Daly coming on for Chloe Kelly.

There are two for Italy a well, with Aurora Galli and Lucia Di Guglielmo being replaced by Annamaria Serturini and Emma Severini.

    England 4-1 Italy

Italy nearly find a quick response.

Michela Cambiaghi has the ball inside the box after a mix-up at the back, but she turns too quickly and can't hit the target. That was a great chance.

Brilliant finish from Ella Toone after making that late run that we've seen from the England midfielders in this game.

It's a good ball from Alex Greenwood to start it off and when Lauren James gets into that position, there is no stopping her.

Two substitutes combining for that goal. It shows you the depth England have.

    Ella Toone (69 mins)

Well.... England have found a way through after all.

Alex Greenwood starts the move with a ball over the top, Lauren James receives it and cuts the ball back across the post.

It falls to Ella Toone, who sends an excellent first-time finish past Laura Guiliani.

The second half definitely hasn't been as exciting as the first.

Neither team can find a way through at the moment.

I've been really impressed with Jess Park for Manchester City in the last couple of games, the way she plays those through balls from central areas.

Fantastic turn from Lauren James but it's a comfortable save for Laura Giuliani.

Lauren James is so dangerous in that position.

She turns on the edge of the box and sends a strike towards goal, but Laura Giuliana reacts quickly and palms it behind.

That's an excellent bit of defending from Lotte Wubben-Moy.

The ball is released over the top towards Sofia Cantore, but Wubben-Moy jumps in for an aerial interception with her feet.

Italy are pressing higher up the pitch and are looking a bit more confident. They've made a couple of changes and freshened up those legs.

If they can get a goal here, it makes the last half hour a whole lot more interesting.

  19. Postpublished at 61 mins

    England 3-1 Italy

Italy are enjoying a bit more freedom at the moment and having the first period of the game where they're holding the ball in England's half.

They're yet to trouble Mary Earps during it, though.

The first corner is sent straight behind for another by Jess Carter.

The second is closer as the delivery nearly finds Michela Cambiaghi, but she can't leap high enough to meet it in the six-yard box.
