Brilliant delivery from Chloe Kelly. She whips it in really early, Grace Clinton got in at the near post but just couldn't get the header on target.
That's where you want your attacking midfielders, though, arriving late into those areas.

Sarina Wiegman expected Italy to come out and press and they haven't done that at all.
They sat back and let England have possession and dominate the ball. But when they started to do that [press], they got the goal.
When they are on the front foot they are a better team.

I get that these games are preparation for upcoming qualifiers, but we'll be heavy favourites to qualify anyway. So would've liked to see more experimenting in this team. Literally everyone outside of Clinton has been seen in these roles plenty of times. We know what they are, the negatives and positives. Why not a back 3, or James as a 10, or Park in the middle, or a different centre-forward? It's just the same again. Has to be more work put into creating a Plan B.

They've had a few chances and make the most of this one, moving forward as the ball is mispalced by the England defence.
It's played towards Michela Cambiaghi and she taps past Mary Earps.

Chloe Kelly cuts inside in her trademark fashion and sends an effort towards goal, but she might have had better options inside.
Instead, it's a tame shot and easily stopped by the Italy goalkeeper.

She couldn't really get the power but hat is a fantastic save from Mary Earps. She got that leg in the right place and spread, as all good goalkeepers do.
We know how good she has been in the last few years and again she has come up big.
