West Ham lead this tie for the first time.

Jarrod Bowen picks a good time to get his first European goal of the season. He barges his way past two defenders before driving a shot into the bottom corner from 18 yards out.

    London Stadium erupts.

Scored the goal but the possession stats gradually showing Freiburg are having too much control of the ball. West Ham must not slip into this defensive posture as they so often do. They must remain on the front foot and not invite Freiburg on

Michail Antonio's speed and strength is causing the Freiburg defence a major problem.

When the West Ham forward comes out to a wide position, the visitors are getting pulled too far away from their preferred positions and space is opening up around them.

If West Ham maintain this offensive, another opportunity is bound to come soon.

  12. Postpublished at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March

West Ham 1-0 Freiburg (Agg 1-1)

Clever first touch from Konstantinos Mavropanos, the West Ham defender who for some reason is on the edge of the opposition box, but he loses the ball a second later.

  13. Postpublished at 18:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March

Luckily for West Ham nobody has gambled for Freiburg as Christian Gunter cushions a cross in from the left- and Lukasz Fabianski pounces.

  16. Postpublished at 18:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March

West Ham 1-0 Freiburg (Agg 1-1)

    West Ham should be ahead.

The home fans love it as Michail Antonio runs onto a long ball, heads it into his path and beats his man.

He pulls it back for Mohammed Kudus, who isn't expecting the ball and shoots wide from close range.

A few physical chances on the left side of midfield with Michail Antonio winning his team a throw-in. West Ham look up for this - as you'd expect.

I did wonder whether Aaron Cresswell might mix it up and go short as he lined up his third successive corner.

But Freiburg had been scrambling to get rid of the first two, so it did make sense to follow a similar pattern.

This time he dropped it to the near post, where Tomas Soucek is such a massive threat.

There's a lively atmosphere in the London Stadium now.
