In the moments after Kilmarnock got their goal, Neil Warnock was booked for some choice words to the officials.

Fair to say recent history favours Derek McInnes' men. Kilmarnock have a record of W6, D2, L0 when scoring the opening goal at home in the Scottish Premiership this season.

Aberdeen have a record of W0, D0, L6 when conceding the opening goal away from home in the top flight this season. Can the Dons turn their fortunes after the interval?

  6. All going according to script for Rangerspublished at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    HT: Rangers 3-0 Hearts

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

A goal in the first minute, followed by two before half-time. Home boss Philippe Clement couldn't have scripted a better way for his side to go about their business from the top of the Scottish Premiership perch. Three top-class finishes to boot, from Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes and Cyriel Dessers. But for a couple of fine saves from Zander Clark in the Hearts goal, it could have been significantly worse for the visitors, who've been a shadow of the side that have, like Rangers, not dropped a single point in 2024 so far.

That stat will be wiped out here at Ibrox this afternoon where there's already a party atmosphere building. Rangers are surely set to extend their lead at the top of the table to an imposing five points ahead of Celtic's trip to Motherwell tomorrow. They're also doing their goal difference a huge favour, with another 45 still to play here. The Rangers fans will feel it's a display of champions so far. Will they be proven correct?

  8. Killie rewarded right on half-timepublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    HT: Kilmarnock 1-0 Aberdeen

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

Deserved. Kilmarnock have been the better side overall and would have been so frustrated not to have been ahead.

What a challenge now for Aberdeen. They're struggling to create and Bojan Miovski has been denied any service at all. With a striker like that, you have to wonder why that's the case.

  9. Penalty boosts Hibs confidencepublished at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    HT: Hibernian 1-0 Dundee

The penalty scored by Dylan Vente certainly looks to have given the home side a major boost in terms of the confidence shown by the players.

The visitors may well look at the mistake made by Trevor Carson that led to the opener but the keeper has also made some terrific stops from the aforementioned Vente and Myziane Maolida to keep the deficit to just the one.

The half-time team talk from Dee boss Tony Docherty will be key as they look to get themselves back into the match.

  10. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 1-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

The hosts head down the tunnel relieved to have broken the deadlock through Corrie Ndaba's header.

Kilmarnock had plenty of chances before the opener, with Kyle Vassell striking the post and Stuart Findlay seeing his header cleared off the line.

Aberdeen, meanwhile, have been absent in Ayrshire. You wouldn't be surprised if they get a vintage Neil Warnock dressing down after a poor first-half performance.

  11. HALF-TIME Hibernian 1-0 Dundeepublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

Hibs have had plenty of chances, but they owe their goal to a complete calamity from Trevor Carson.

The Dundee stopped gave away the penalty after spilling a routine corner, but has since made numerous saves to stop Hibs doubling their lead.

As it stands, Hibs move two points off sixth-placed Dundee. This would be a big win.

  12. HALF-TIME - Ross County 2-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

All hail the wolf, also known as Eamonn Brophy. The Ross County striker has scored both goals, the second a thumping effort.

The first was a calm finish after being gifted the chance by Mohammed Sangare.

Livingston have it all to do if they're going to stop themselves slipping six points adrift at the bottom.

  13. St Mirren deservedly in frontpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    St Mirren 1-0 St Johnstone

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland in Paisley

While their goal was a tad fortunate, St Mirren deserve their lead here. They've enjoyed more possession and have looked more threatening going forward compared to their opponents in this half. The game's not been a great spectacle. St Johnstone have offered little, although in the past five minutes or so they did mount one or two attacks, that resulted in half-chances.

  18. HALF-TIME St Mirren 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

It's been an afternoon to forget for the travelling St Johnstone support, who see their team trail to a St Mirren side who have barely got out of first gear.

An own goal from Dimitar Mitov, forced by a low Mikael Mandron strike from range, has the home side in front despite their own lack of attacking threat.

GOAL Rangers 3-0 Heartspublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    Cyriel Dessers

This time he finds the net. This time the flag stays down. For now.

John Souttar's ball over the top finds Cyriel Dessers free and he cushions in a lovely side-foot volley into the far corner.

It's a tight one but the goal stands.
