I'm not wanting to jinx anything, but take this as a public service announcement

It's straight to penalties if it ends in a draw...

Scotland looked revitalised by that goal.

They win a corner and the ball is eventually launched into the box before Finland clear it.

    Martha Thomas

    Who else would it be?!

It's almost an exact copy of her first goal against the Philippines at the weekend.

Erin Cuthbert's free-kick is saved by the Finland goalie who parries it right into the path of Martha Thomas who wasn't going to miss this one.

    What a chance for Scotland!

The low ball across the box from Fiona Brown rolls past Martha Thomas and lands with Claire Emslie who tries to take the shot but she can't get a decent connection.

Much more positive from Scotland though.

  14. Scots lose the heid... and are punished for itpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    HT: Scotland 0-1 Finland

    BBC Scotland at Pinatar Arena

Why did it all go wrong when it did?

Scotland were comfy, with a bit of swagger about their play. The moment Finland got a foothold, panic set in on the touchline and those on the pitch were left confused, and have been punished for it.

Other than that, Finland have offered nothing. All the golamouth action has been in favour of the Scots. If they can just keep the 'heid, they can work their way back into this. But, it's a big if...

  15. HALF-TIME Scotland 0-1 Finlandpublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Scotland trail at the break.

There were flashes from Pedro Martinez Losa's side but so far there's been no response to Oona Sevenius' opener.

Huge second half coming up if they want to lift the Pinatar Cup.

    Scotland 0-1 Finland

Erin Cuthbert attempts to take matters into her own hands once again sending Scotland's free-kick towards the Finland goal but no joy.

During that encounter, there's a clash between Sophie Howard and Eveliina Summanen who stayed down clutching her head.

She's back to her feet now and looks ok to play on.

Scotland need half-time pronto. It's really rushed out there. They need to regroup and settle on what they're supposed to be doing... which should be a give.

Just as I say that, Erin Cuthbert - to no one's shock - takes matters into her own hands and forces the first real save out of Tonja-Rikka Korpela.

Better, but far from good enough.
