    Scotland 0-1 Finland

Scotland have a corner, Erin Cuthbert is the one to take.

She sends it beyond the back post and Sophie Howards tries to head it goalwards but she can't get it on target.

GOAL Scotland 0-1 Finlandpublished at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Oona Sevenius

    Finland take the lead.

Katarina Kosola sends a wonderful cross to the back post and Oona Sevenius rises highest to meet it and sends it past Sandy MacIver into the back of the net.

Not a lot the keeper can do about that one, tough start for the Scots.

  3. Confusion in the camp...published at 13:26 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

Pedro Martinez Losa and co were balling directions at Chelsea Cornet in the midfield to sit that little bit deeper alongside Sam Kerr.

Erin Cuthbert shouted back, "that's not the game plan".

Cornet is clearly confused and conflicted as to what to do on her first Scotland start.

Not the kinda stuff you want to hear...

  4. Postpublished at 13:21 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Scotland are playing some really nice football here, no breakthrough as yet but it feels like it's coming...

Erin Cuthbert makes a lovely run down the right and sends a cross in but Finland get it clear.

It only goes as far as the edge of the box though, some nice passing and moving from Scotland but the Finns eventually get rid.

  5. Speedy Scotspublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

Fast and frantic start in these turbulent conditions.

Scotland really have come out with a bit of zip about their player.

Pedro Martinez Losa told me yesterday that the final training session was "the best he had seen in terms of energy".

On show in abundance so far...

  6. Postpublished at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

Martha Thomas picks up the ball and makes a great run way into Finland's half.

She tries to lay off Claire Emslie but the pass is intercepted and cleared by the Finnish defence.

  7. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Scotland 0-0 Finland

It's been a pretty even contest so far, Scotland with the first real chance of the game.

Martha Thomas does really well to latch onto Finland's loose pass and tries a strike from distance but it doesn't trouble Tinja-Riikka Korpela in the Finland goal as it sails over the bar.

There are no hats to be lost today. Only thing that Scotland need to have their hands on in a couple hours is the Pinatar Cup.

Ending this warm-weather training camp with a win and a little bit of silverware is the only way this week’s work can be deemed a success and for Scotland to be back on track for the upcoming Euro qualifiers.

Pedro Martinez Losa has made a big call at the back, dropping captain Rachel Corsie when many thought the side today would reflect the one kicking off the qualification campaign in April. Let’s see if it pays off…
