There is a lot of expectation on Kai Havertz, for the transfer fee he was bought for, for the fact that he's scored a winning goal in a Champions League final, but he is still young.

He had to go through a rough spell at the start of the season, which he pushed through with the support of his manager and teammates, and Arsenal are reaping the rewards of that now.

He is a player that is confident going on the pitch, he isn't trying too hard to do things now, he is making the right decisions.

People will still say that Arsenal still need a number nine but Arsenal are showing Havertz can play in that role and they can have success and still have goals from around the team.

  2. 'Potentially an afternoon for the keepers'published at 14:53 British Summer Time 6 April

BBC Final Score at Villa Park

We were expecting a face off here between two rivals for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Euros; Ollie Watkins v Ivan Toney. So the news that Toney is on the bench has caught us by surprise, although he is on his longest ever top flight goal drought at the moment, 7 Premier League games without finding the back of the net.

It’s a really windy day today at Villa Park so potentially a tough afternoon for the keepers on set pieces.

Meanwhile, with Watkins, Emi Martinez and John McGinn back in the XI, the Villa fans around me are feeling extremely confident this afternoon as they set their sights on the Champions League next season.

After the game at Newcastle in midweek the Everton fans were crying out for the subs that came on that night, Andre Gomes, Amadou Onana to start. To bring that bit of creativity in front of goal for them.

You could argue that Everton's structure under Sean Dyche does not want ball players in the middle, it wants runners that are willing to get up and down the pitch and willing to win headers and duels.

  4. 'Foden keeps me on my toes'published at 14:52 British Summer Time 6 April

FT: Crystal Palace 2-4 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne to TNT Sports: "It was good. It has been a very untypical season with the injuries and coming back. Sometimes I feel good, sometimes I feel a little bit off with my body. I have tried to prepare myself as best as possible. I try to do the job as good as possible and today I did well."

[Feeling pressure to perform after Phil Foden's hat-trick]: "Yeah I do because these guys keep me on my toes. I don't expect to just be given my place. If I don't perform well, I won't play. Phil Foden has been amazing this season so deserves it but it keeps me on my toes."

[Playing central with Foden]: "I think it's possible. When I started at 16 or 17 nobody thought it was possible with David Silva. It will be a little bit vice versa but I don't see why not. We have not done it that much.

"I just try to be more of an example with the way I am on the pitch. I won't be the person to tell others how to live their lives but I try to show on the pitch. I have played with Phil [Foden] for seven or eight years now so I don't feel like he is a youngster anymore. He is an established superstar in our team. He is just amazing."

[Playing early kick-offs]: "Now that we won I like it but I don't like early kick-offs to be honest. We can just try to play as good as possible. Now we can look at the games and see how they do. We have to go home, have a little rest and get ready for the game on Tuesday."

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil made 56 appearances for West Ham during a three-year stretch at Upton Park from 2010 to 2013.

He clearly remembers his time in east London with affection judging by his programme notes today.

"Everyone knows my history with West Ham," he said.

"I loved the time I spent there as a player.

"It is a great club that is in a good place under David (Moyes') management.

"They've progressed really well over the last few years and we are under no illusions how difficult today will be."

  6. Luton clean sheet seems vitalpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 6 April

    Luton v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Luton have had a couple of bad results which have hit their hopes of staying up hard, but the one that will really haunt them if they go down is their collapse from 3-0 up to lose 4-3 to Bournemouth on 13 March.

The Hatters keep on running teams close, but keep on being on the wrong side of close scorelines. How can they change that? Well, keeping a clean sheet feels vital to me given their situation, and they haven't managed one of those since their last league win, over Brighton on 30 January.

They have proved they have got a goal or two in them, now they need to improve at the back - but I don't think they will keep a clean sheet against Bournemouth.

The Cherries seem to have got the balance right between defence and attack and the run they are on has taken them towards the top half of the table.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

  7. 'I don't see many goals from either team today.'published at 14:50 British Summer Time 6 April

    Everton v Burnley (15:00 BST)

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

There seems to be an effervescence about Burnley, not just in how they play but the fact they are now getting end product, goals and results.

Beating Brentford was huge, getting a draw at the weekend was huge, particularly the manner in which they scraped that back and held Wolves.

On the other side you've got Everton who are really struggling for goals, Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored last time out to break his goal drought but I don't see many goals from either team today.

  8. 'For Luton it has to start with a win today'published at 14:49 British Summer Time 6 April

    Luton v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

If Luton were to lose today then go to Man City and lose heavily then it would look difficult for them.

They then have Brentford and then Everton after that, so if they can draw both of those sides closer into them with a win today that is exactly what you'd want.

It has to start today with a win, but with ten injuries in their side it will be tough.

  9. 'City have done their job, now it is over to Arsenal and Liverpool.'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 6 April

    Michael Brown
Former Fulham and Man City midfielder on Final Score

I think you are just looking at your own job at this point in the season.

You see your opponents go into some games and expect them to win, City started slow today but they would have expected to win. For Liverpool and Arsenal this weekend they have tests against United and Brighton respectively.

It is a brilliant title race, three teams still in it. City have done their job today and now it is over to Arsenal and Liverpool.

Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta speaking to TNT Sports: "We watched City and how they pressed high and I scored early against one of the biggest teams in the world. In the second half they came back strongly. They are a good team.

"It was the plan. We tried it and we scored once. We had many chances after but we didn't score and they did.

"It's tough but we will keep working. We focus on the next game now.

On Oliver Glasner: "It's good. He gives us some new details. He has new formations and a lot of things are not the same. We try to put those things in. We are in a good way. We focus each game and then we will see."

  12. 'Fulham will get at Newcastle'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 6 April

    Fulham v Newcastle (15:00 GMT)

Newcastle's inconsistency means they are turning into the new Chelsea - which is not a good thing for them, or for the sake of my predictions.

Fulham have been up and down as well, but they are usually more reliable at home and the Magpies squad is still stretched by injuries and some of their players appear to be running on empty.

Compared to last season, Newcastle's defensive record is significantly worse this time - they conceded 33 goals in 38 games in 2022-23 but have already shipped 52 in 30 matches so far in this campaign.

A lot of that is down to the fact their regular back five from last season, defenders Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn, Fabian Shar and Sven Botman plus their goalkeeper Nick Pope, have missed so many games this time.

Those five players all started at least 35 league games last season, but there has been nothing like the same continuity in recent months.

That's a major reason why teams have been able to get at them, and I am expecting Fulham to do the same on Saturday.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

    Fulham v Newcastle (15:00 BST)

There couldn’t be a greater contrast between these two teams right now in terms of availability.

Marco Silva is having to leave first-team regulars out of his 20-man squad, whereas Eddie Howe has got two goalkeepers on his bench, as well as plenty who have limited Premier League experience.

So - naturally - the final half an hour of this game could be pivotal.

Wolves v West Ham (15:00 BST)

West Ham still have a chance of European qualification through their league position this season but there is no doubting their biggest match of the week is the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final with Bayer Leverkusen.

  15. Villa to win 2-1?published at 14:43 British Summer Time 6 April

Aston Villa v Brentford (15:00 BST)

Brentford were quite pragmatic in their draw with Brighton in midweek but I don't blame Bees boss Thomas Frank for that approach.

He is trying to stay in the Premier League, so every point is crucial and they now have a six-point advantage over third-bottom Luton, plus a much better goal difference.

I still think Brentford need another win before the end of the season to make absolutely sure of staying up and they will get it... but I don't think it will come here, despite Aston Villa's injury problems.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Unai Emery is unlikely to entertain any jitters but, after four points from their past four games, the Aston Villa boss would be forgiven for looking over his shoulder.

Their lead over Tottenham in the race for fourth place is much more fragile having been cut to two points with seven games remaining.

A game in hand over Villa, against Chelsea, is Tottenham's trump card in the run-in.

  17. 'I think Everton will take the points'published at 14:42 British Summer Time 6 April

    Everton v Burnley (15:00 BST)

Tuesday's draw with Newcastle goes down as a point gained for Everton but that doesn't change the fact that Burnley were the last team they beat in the league, at Turf Moor on 16 December.

Sean Dyche did a job on his old team in that game, but his side did not win any of the 13 league games that have followed and they are under real pressure to put that right here.

The Goodison Park atmosphere has been so important to Everton in the past, but I can see the crowd getting really anxious if they fall a goal behind or things don't go to plan.

It's a huge game for Burnley too, of course. Fair play to the Clarets, whose run of four games unbeaten has given them a chance of avoiding relegation, but if they are going to stay up then they really have to win this game.

It's Everton who I think will take the points though. I can't back them going off recent form but they are a well-balanced side who usually create a few chances. This time, that might be enough.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-0

    Everton v Burnley (15:00 BST)

    James McFadden
Former Scotland forward on BBC Radio 5 Live

This game can be a match that can set the tone for the remainder of the season for Everton.

Every game has been tough over the last couple of months but these games are the ones where they expect to get a victory. It is a game where if they win it allows them to forget the bad run they have been on and start looking forward to the next games with confidence. Put pressure on the teams above them.

For the players it is about getting the job done today.

If Everton lose today they are in huge trouble, I think they could go, I really do.

You watch them and they continue to do the same things, and you are waiting them to change things and they don't. The definition of madness isn't it? Continuing to do the same time and again and expecting different results.

Sean Dyche may argue that they are putting in good performances and making chances, but it doesn't matter, you are not scoring goals.
